Surprised to find the bedspread dirty
ilishmon 16/10/2017 22:10We often stay at a Comfort Inn when travelling and need to stay a night and are generally satisfied with the Comfort Inn as a stop-over and some even more than a stop-over. But not all Comfort Inns are equal. This one had a bedspread on the bed that had a burn hole in it and dirty spots. I mentioned it to the housekeeper who did change it in that she removed it and replaced it by a rather ratty blanket. The rest of the bed was clean and very comfortable. I mentioned it the next morning to staff when checking out, but their response was basically asking if the housekeeper removed the bedspread. I think they said they were sorry, but it certainly wasn't a sorry I would remember and no discount was given. Check-in and check-out was very perfunctory. I also feel there had been smoking either in the room or nearby previously. The rest of the room was very clean. Not sure if we will treat this as an aberration or find another hotel in Cambridge when we visit again in a couple of weeks.
Dated but comfortable
ON-Northon 26/09/2017 00:36Older hotel with some updates. Room needed airing and I suspect people have been smoking in it. Room was large and beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was very good. The hotel was full the one night we stayed.
Small Business People are treated like huge corperations.
pestandpropertys2017on 21/09/2017 23:29As a small business owner/operator I found myself staying in the Tri City area on a regular basis. I was staying at a competitors establishment regular and would attend midweek visits. I had to attend on a weekend for a night and they raised the rate buy %50; not impressed.
I found Comfort Inn Cambridge and they immediately gave me a Small Business rate and locked it in for all my future visits. This means one less thing I need to get side tracked by at the end of a long day. Thanks to Trista and the other great staff at the front desk I look forward to a great night and a refreshing continental in the morning before heading out to the grind again. See you next week!!!

lynjoloon 12/09/2017 21:05Room was clean but noisy. Hotel is quite dated and rather drab. Beds are comfortable but the air conditioner continually wakes you up when it comes roaring on. Could smell cigarettes during the night. I am assuming no one walks the floors to check on this.
BED BUGS. STAY AWAY

Had three nights with what I thought was no issues until this morning when I got up to check out I seen a bed bug crawling across my sheets. Upon further investigation I seen four more crawling in the mattress. I squished the one I found and brought it down to the man at the front desk and he basically laughed in my face. He had a brazen smirk on his face the entire time he was refunding me for the three nights I stayed probably getting bitten in my sleep. I didn't receive an apology or was I even showed any empathy toward my situation. I didn't have time to speak to the manager as I was on my way to a business meeting but I will be calling and speaking to him later on today. I am disgusted.
