Stayed here twice for one night each before and after traveling to Chetumal. Comfort Inn rooms are clean and comfortable. Some noise from the exterior.
Staff is helpful and able to communicate fairly well in English.
Transportation from the airport via the courtesy shuttle was flawed. Driver circled back to pick up some people he knew and drop them at the local terminal. They did not appear to be hotel guests or associated with the hotel.
Transportation to the airport is not available. Local cab driver at the hotel taxi stand wanted 300 pesos. Front desk confirmed that was the regular fare. I walked a block to the market and called Uber who charged 39 pesos for the trip.

They stated they had free shuttle service. They do not. They tell you it's only from the airport to the hotel (not helpful at all in an "airport hotel"), and when you ask for other means of transportation they tell you to talk to a guy on the third floor. There, they will tell you you have to pay 300mxn or 16usd for a five minute drive which is absurd. They won't let uber get near the hotel by intimidating them, so you are forced to us they overpriced service for a service they say is included.
The room was noisy (the ac and bathroom extractor makes a lot of noise, and you hear everything that happens in the adjacent rooms and hallway).

They mislead guestsby stating they have an airport shuttle and WiFi. They do not. Well, airport shuttle was not available for me trying to get to the airport. WiFi did not work; after hours of asking the front desk, the front seat finally confided that it was down and I shouldn’t expect it to be up and running before I left. I’m all for no WiFi on vacay, but I needed it to check into my flight.
I would not recommend this place.

The Comfort Inn in Cancun is a great place to spend the night before moving on to your resort. Rooms are very clean, front desk staff are nice and willing to help in any manner they can. The property provides a free continental breakfast or the option to order from a menu for an additional charge.

Cheap - Cheap . . . but still overpriced. We got stuck on the ground floor, you could hear every conversation at the front desk, cars coming and going right outside our window. We tried going to the restaurant and there was a bunch of really loud and unfriendly guys, so we ordered and asked for it to be sent to the room. My wife was frightened. Breakfast was a joke unless you wanted cereal, toast and water melon - you could order from the menu. We could not find an English speaking channel on the TV and I asked if the Pay-Per View had English films and was told it wasn't working. Tried to take a cup of coffee to the room for my wife and was told I couldn't.
