Really lovely, modern room, kept super clean. Equipped with a cook top, cutlery and saucepans etc, it has everything you'd need to cook a good meal. The bathroom was huge and had obviously been renovated very recently. Excellent air conditioner as well, which was a relief given the hot weather the night of my stay. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but really spacious. Really good location, just a quick walk to the main street of Clare and shops, cafes and restaurants. Unfortunately there was a bit of noise, both from guests staying up late into the night outside, and the trucks rumbling down the main road throughout the night.

My husband and I spent last night at this motel. I was totally amazed at the room. Separate toilet, very large shower, good drying towels ( not too fluffy), microwave and an electric hotplate. King size comfortable bed with a padded bedhead, table and chairs to eat at and a lounge that I am assuming can be turned into a bed. Very comfortable. The room was spotless and I cannot compare it with any room I have stayed in regardless of price. Very large cooked breakfast....enough for 2. The actual room was very large. Would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Clare.

Comfortable room and bed . Only problem was the 5-30am wake up with tradesmen heading off to work on Friday - probably not an issue on the weekend though.
Good location , as the name suggests , right in the centre of town .

The staff were very welcoming. The room neat and tidy. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. Breakfast was not available in room only served in dining room, that really was not an issue. Plenty to eat only had a continental breakfast. Clare is a very nice town and well worth a visit. The dining room was closed on the evening we were there.

Haven’t been here in some time due to some very dodgy food at very inflated prices. However with new owners it was worth a try.
The restaurant was 200% better.
On top of the food the service was very personal and the extra detail of a birthday cake for dessert was really appreciated.
Only comment was that our entree came out 5 minutes before mains so we didn’t have time to eat them.
