What People are saying
Nice and Convenient

My husband, son, and I stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and comfortable enough (mattresses could use updating, but my husband liked the pillows.) Front desk staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Noise was pretty low, but you can hear people walking on the floor above every now and then along with the occasional door slam. Convenient location whether you are familiar with the area or not. Walmart is practically across the street, and there is a target about a mile down the highway if you prefer. It's close enough to Monterey without being right in the middle of the tourist spot and it's high prices. Would definitely stay again.
Spacious (partially) updated suite, friendly service

Although arriving half an hour before posted check-in time there was no problem getting the room. The friendly and efficient front desk clerk was nice and doing her job very skillfully and professionally.
As a Platinum Choice Privileges member I was upgraded to a suite, which was a wonderful thing as this was our last night of a 25-day vacation and we had to pack everything for the flight home, which required a lot of room space. Well, this suite featured plenty. The bathroom was one of the more spacious as well. The suite was mostly updated, especially the A/C appeared brand new. However the basic furniture was stil old with lots of scratches and peeling layers. They should have replaced that as well.
Breakfast was a bit on the low side for a Comfort Inn. The seating area was limited in capacity as was the choice of article for breakfast, e.g. no bananas.
I used the computer in the lobby to print boarding passes and was surprised they actually charge for each printed sheet of paper. I find this practice ridiculous. Of course in lobby computers are not for printing large documents, so if there is a limit set at 10 pages or so, that sounds reasonable, but a charge for printing a boarding pass or a voucher is inhospitable, IMHO.
Nevertheless my stay was mostly enjoyable.
Wonderful Stay

We were impressed when we were upgraded to a suite with a nice beautiful bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and extra table convenient to work with a laptop. The breakfast was standard for the chain with good eggs and sausages, plus yogurt and breads. The was an exercise room but no pool. This location was easy to travel to the major road to Monterey or Pebble Beach. A restful accommodation for us.
Super king suite

Checked in with Inn manager. Lobby had great fragrance well-appointed and comfortable. Did need to turn lights on several times near elevator. Not sure why they are always off. Were given a very nice well-appointed king suite. It was a handicapped suite, we didn't ask for it. 2 room suite, roomy and comfortable, wheel chair accessible (note we didn't have). Bathroom could use a little more counter space. Not sure if bathroom arranged for handicap. Sink appeared high for a wheelchair. Tub not necessarily handicap accessible although had 3 grab bars. Should have had a walk-in shower if truly handicapped accessible.
Couple cons: no pool. Just fitness room and sauna (how many travelers use a sauna?) Breakfast: while typical breakfast, hot food very diminished at 8:30 am. Attendant never refilled even though breakfast ended at 9. Not nice.
PRO: because husband played golf, we needed a late checkout. Received a 1 pm checkout.
Would recommend for travelers.
always a pleasure to return

Had a good assortment (hot and cold) and a great breakfast room. Always clean, comfortable rooms with surprising amount of space. The rooms have comfortable beds and mutiple pillow type assortment. Atmosphere very quiet and relaxing. I'm a repeat customer and plan to return often!
