We spent four nights at the Comfort Inn of Martinsville.
Check in was excellent and flawless. The room is okay, somewhat frayed, but comfortable. There was no stopper in the bathtub, but one was provided the next day.
The breakfast is okay, similar to the average of those provided by other Comfort Inns.
A local newspaper is no longer provided and the USA Today is only available electronically.
We were disappointed that our room was not prepared until after 4 pm on the final night of our stay.
It’s unlikely we will stay at this location in the future.

While booking a room for the upcoming race I had several problems come up. thankfully the front desk staff helped me with everything! I would like to personally thank Taylor for all of her above and beyond service. looking forward to my stay just based on that.

I stayed at this hotel while on business in that area. The hotel staff were very polite and professional. The room was clean and reasonably priced. I will stay here in the future when I am in the area.

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. The rooms were clean and the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast offered in the morning is one of the best we have came across. The employees are all superb. Smiling faces and warm hellos let you know they actually care. The pool was refreshing. My kids are like fish and stayed in the pool almost the whole time. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

We came into town for a funeral, and planned on staying 2 nights. The staff were very friendly, and the comp breakfast was very nice. But the room was a disaster.
When we finally got in and pulled the bedsheets back they were still dirty from the previous occupents of the room. I am not sure if it was blood or what, but was truly gross (see photos). We called the desk and was told housekeeping was gone for the day. We asked for new bedding, 15 minutes later it arrived to the room. So at 10 p.m we had to change our own sheets and bedding. The sheets were the wrong size and didnt fit, they didnt have another clean comforter. (I find weird, how do they get changed in the mornings if no clean are available?) Lucky for us we had the kids sleeping bags, so they used those. We were also told to leave the dirty sheets in the room.
We were to stay 2 nights, we left after night #1, ohh they did take $10 off our bill for our troubles....
If you dont mind sleeping in someone elses funk, then you may be o.k with your stay.
