fred zon 08/11/2017 02:16This hotel was previously a Howard Johnson's - and it sort of still has that Hojo's feel to it. The place is clean and functional, but not fancy. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions (oh those New Jersey jug handles!). The breakfast selections were good. The hotel seemed full but our room was nice and quiet. It did seem a bit pricey for our small room.
Great Service
Irma Con 19/09/2017 17:44My husband and I stayed overnight at the Comfort Inn in Middletown, NJ for a wedding. The room, with balcony facing the pool, was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, security safe and comfortable beds. The following day, when I got home I realized that I had forgotten my husband's suit and my evening outfit in the room closet. I called the hotel, spoke to Tracy who assured me that she would mail the items to me and as she promised, I received the package the following day. Thank you!
Clean and comfortable
happyhikersNewJerseyon 11/09/2017 03:57Very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Stayed two nights and was happy and would stay again if in the area. Minor things with the room such as wallpaper peeling but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable.

AllieMBon 11/09/2017 01:15We stayed at Comfort Inn overnight to attend a funeral. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, rooms a bit out dated but clean and comfortable. Rooms had a patio, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker and safe.Fitness area and pool looked great. Usual egg, make your own pancakes, etc breakfast included. Great location and Outback Steakhouse right next door for lunch, dinner or cocktails. Would definately stay here again.
Close to beaches and fishing
Olese414on 31/08/2017 15:49Great first impression. Staff were wonderful, coffee all day in lobby, terrace outside a very nice room. I was a little disappointed in the pool area. Several tiles missing in the pool, so it looks like it needs some TLC. My only other complaint was that when we went for breakfast, the only person there was a young man who didn't have a key to open refrigerator with the butter, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. He said he was new and wasn't allowed to have a key. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. He was able to hunt down some butter for my English muffin.
