If you value your life, DO NOT stay here! Room thermostat popped and threw major sparks 4 times during the night and we were told "Don't worry about it." Yah, right!
So much for sleep! Told room would not be rented out. However, one week later, find out room IS being rented because manager has no problem with it. Best of luck if you choose to stay here!

We recently spent 4 nights here. The staff was very accomodating and professional. Large, clean room with a balcony on the first floor facing Route 68. While the traffic noice was loud Saturday and Sunday night with the door open for fresh air. Once it was closed and the provided box fan was on, it was very pleasant sleeping. There was a motorcyle event happening at Laguna Seca from the which when the event was over daily the "bikes" were heading into Monterey causing the noice. Other then that it was quiet.
The room had been recently renovated and was modernized. The breakfast area was small for the size of the hotel. But, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
I was concerned about airport noice. But, during the stay I only heard one airplane and even then it was a muffled sound.
I would recommend this hotel for it's location to the major roads you take into Monterey and if you want to head south towards Carmel.

Awful customer service.....
Ok. Maybe it's a decent location. But that's about it.
Expect no love from this place.
Hard to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COST. Staff is rude. And the rooms are awful. Not willing to work at all.

Very nice for accommodating minor disability, finding adequate room for patrons and with only three small steps. Slight difficulty getting a taxi to the airport, but taxi was able to pull right up to steps to room. Very convenient for airport travel. Room was clean and nice windows. Love the window seat. Taxi was $5ish to airport.

Good location if you don't mind driving. It isn't near anything walkable. Very quiet site. Internet was OUTSTANDING, and this is very important to us. Simple amenities, nothing special, but a good deal compared to the pricier places on Munras in Monterey, or Carmel.
