Quality Inn - a good choice

I stayed at the Quality Inn in Lawrenceville with my family on the night preceding the 2017 New Jersey State Triathlon (at Mercer Co. Park). I've read many of the other reviews, some of which seem unfair; this review is written in the context of the category of the hotel.
Pros: Location: The hotel is right off the highway. It was less than a ten minute drive to Mercer County Park/Lake. The last time I did the NJ State Triathlon, I stayed at an "official" hotel and it took 20-25 minutes to get there! It is literally within walking distance to the Quaker Bridge Mall. My family had lunch and dinner in the food court there. That way everyone got to eat what they wanted! Friendly: I had interactions with the staff both before and during our stay, all positive. The welcome message in the hotel's services book is heartwarming. We did have trouble with our A/C in our room; management quickly fixed whatever was the problem. Breakfast: included in the room, with breakfast breads and hot items. Coffee and water are available 24 hours. Cost: my bill was under $100; I'm not used to that. This stay was a very good value.
Cons: The recent name change (from Comfort Inn) makes it hard to find on GPS. Try searching for Comfort Inn of Lawrenceville. I usually include information for traveling athletes. I did not work out when I was there (I already had work out plans), though it's probably a good thing. There is no pool, and the proximity to the highway makes me question whether or not I'd be able to find a safe running route around there. Then again, I didn't ask.
Overall, we found this hotel a good value: helpful staff, free breakfast, free WiFi, well located, and comfortable enough. We recommend it!
It's a Quality Inn now - Average Stay

We stayed here 2 nights because of a concert we drove up for and the staff was extremely friendly, the wait to check in was a little long; but that wasn't the staff's fault but that of a frequent customer that stays there a lot (I learned this from his extremely loud conversation with the staff). The room was average, clean and comfy bed.
The only issues we had with our stay was the fact there was a hole in the wall, like someone punched it recently AND every time we left the hotel the entire hallway would smell like weed.
The breakfast in the morning was very good, so again other than those listed above it was a very comfortable stay.
Best ever

This was our #1 experience EVER with a Quality Inn. We love Choice Hotels and actually prefer Quality Inns over Comfort and Sleep Inns, but THIS QI is at the top in EVERY area. From appearance, to cleanliness to the most amazingly friendly yet incredibly professional staff, QI Lawrenceville will remain our hotel of choice for visits to Princeton (10 min) or to Princeton Jct. Rail Station to "train-in" to NYC for a show (less than 1 hr. trip in... SO EASY!). We had a lovely, clean spacious King Room (#206) which we would request for all our stays (if possible). The hotel is freshly tiled, carpeted, wide and clean hallways, fast elevator, very reliable high-speed internet and rooms that are spic-n-span with restful color choices. As nice as a hotel can be with it's amenities, it is the staff that actually puts QI Lawrenceville at the top for courtesy, friendliness, professionalism and that "we-are-here-to-serve-you" feeling. A very special "shout-out" to Vipula who, for our three-day stay, made us feel as "family;" this is a wonderful, cherished and extremely rare quality in a hotelier!! (We know! we travel A LOT!) We would also like to mention Ray, Chris (superb layout for breakfast), Nahri (sp?) and the manager (Mike, I believe) and those who saw to it, each day, that the rooms were clean and stocked. Also, we love the wide soak-tub in the bathroom which allowed for both restful baths as well as a quick shower with rotating pulse-shower head! Another plus: 24-hour coffee right inside the main lobby door (YES!) We love you all and anticipate our next visit with "our family." Much appreciation. Brian and Chris, redheads from Baltimore.
THEY STOLE FROM ME

I stayed they for Thanksgiving break 2016 and decided to leave my grandmothers ring that she had gifted to me, hidden in the room and when i came back it was gone. They said they were not responsible for missing objects. IF THAT WERENT ENOUGH they counterfit my credit card. I woke up one morning with 400 dollars used in Brazil. If i could give zero stars i would. They would leave my room dirty and didnt clean it. I am so sadden about my ring, they had no idea the sentimental value it had to me.
Just stay home.

This place is one of a handful of run down hotels in the area. One would think having a world-renown University would attract better than this! I guess the location near Quakerbridge Mall makes it better than sleeping in the backseat of your car. Lift the mattress pad for a surprise if you dare...
