Luv2GoSouth512on 04/11/2017 15:21First, Sandra Forde was tremendous and helpful at this Comfort Inn. The studio queen was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Close to zoo, arenas for the kids ringette and close to 401. I would recommend this location and if you have any problems ask Sandra.
Not Impressive...
DMD_Ottawaon 31/10/2017 20:58We have stayed at this hotel throughout the years to visit family and friends in the area. This last visit was very underwhelming. The room smelled so musty, the bathroom floor had long hair on it the minute we walked in, it just did not seem very clean. The beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast was OK, nothing fancy but starts your day off.
Not the best hotel
Kingstonian8on 13/10/2017 21:59Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a hockey tournament. The hotel was not overly clean. No elevator, so don't pack a lot. Our room smelled of urine and stale smoke. The breakfast selection that was included was good. No pool.
Dirty. Smokey. Prostitutes. Other than that its fine.
eroticintorontoon 28/09/2017 23:52After taking 17 minutes to check in even though we were the only ones at the Lobby Desk we finally entered the room to be hit by the smell of smoke. So much for a smoke free hotel.
We thought it would be cool to have a room with a walk out sliding door. It should have been except for the fact that you could barely see out the glass door. It was so disgustingly dirty you would think they haven't cleaned the door for a couple of years at minimum. That was further confirmed when we had such a hard time sliding the door due to the build up of dirt in the tracks. Our thoughts were "if this is how they are with the obvious stuff...what is the rest of the room like?"
We noticed later in the evening that there were a curious amount of single men roaming the halls. It was obvious there were hookers working out of this hotel and one of them seemed to be two rooms down from us. We heard the same door being knocked on over and over again. Even a couple of arguments ensued from the same room. We were so glad not to have our kids with us.
Jonesnuc (2 reviews down) is correct. This used to be a decent hotel for the area but it has degraded itself into one that unfit for families or decent people.
Sad really. Everything we mentioned is actually preventable and fixable. Its obvious that the management is not as it should be in the place.
Quiet and Comfortable
SailorAirmanon 27/09/2017 01:53I was staying here while in town for a training course. The location is in a decent location near the 401 making it easy to find, and is rather quiet. The room is pretty typical of what you can expect from a Comfort Inn (I've stayed in A LOT of them through work). Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast leaves something to be desired though, the breakfast room is small and can get crowded very quickly and the sausage patties and eggs weren't very appetizing, the waffles are usually pretty good though. Overall a good place to stay.
