Upon going to the OBX for Labor day week vacation stopped at Comfort Inn in Dumfries VA. Chrystal B. was most helpful! Recommened a few places for dinner .Room was spotless .Next morning great breakfast in house.Will not disappoint when in area!

Rooms where nice, indoor pool, weigh room, laundry room and close to Marine Base. I restaurant within walking distance.Any any problem,CHRYSTAL at the front desk was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not the Hilton but a great place to bing the family.

Traveled with a group and stayed 3 nights and 4 days at the Comfort Inn Quantico while touring in Washington, DC. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast included scrambled & boiled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, pancakes, etc. Staff was very cordial and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

The check in was quick and efficient. They did honor a AAA discount and had the best reviews for the hotels in the area. Parking is well lit. We received a room on the second floor. It was very clean, modern, up to date. Bed was ok and pillows were very nice. Hot water was good and shower had pressure. Overall nice room. Gap under door was a but much but other than that, room was nice.
Our problem started just after we had fallen asleep in bed after a long day of driving. At 9:45, knock knock on the door. Front desk with towels and soaps. We didnt request any and he was surprised we didnt want it. 11:45...knock knock..front desk again, this time a girl bringing us towels..we didnt request any.. so now im fruatrated because every time we fall asleep, we get woken up. I called the front desk to reiterate, we did not request anything. Received a call at 12:20AM asking if we wanted towels because someone was calling requesting them... NO! Put out the do not disturb sign and tried to sleep again.. a little before 9AM..knock knock.."Housekeeping."..with a do not disturb sign in the door. Ugh. Now we are up for sure..and the maid went on to clean the next room where we were able to listen to her choice of music and her attempt to sing with it nice and loud through the wall while we got ready.
So room...A+...Disturbances & Rest....Big Fat F

I stayed here after reading reviews of other hotels in the vicinity. Some of the reviews were pretty bad and the ones for this place seemed somewhat better. What I am really saying is you can be picky or you can relax and enjoy your stay which I did. Would definitely stay again -- clean room, decent breakfast, friendly folks. Good stuff -- clean, room well stocked. Staff was friendly but not terribly efficient but friendly -- for example the desk printer malfunctioned and it seemed like a bigger deal than it should have; but I may be wrong. In the room the sink stopper was broken -- no biggy. Slowest elevator since I stayed on the left bank in Paris -- like REALLY slow. One last thing. Every hotel in the area seems to have a thing about smoking -- they will add $250 to your bill if you smoke in a non-smoking room. The hotel must have been a smokers paradise since there is still a faint -- very faint but there -- smoke smell. I noted it to the desk just in case. I gave it four stars to give it a boost.
