Returning to TN on a Sunday after visiting family in MI, something went wrong with the car's cooling system. We limped into Sidney, parked at a defunct gas station, and walked to the Quality Inn. At 10:30 Am Barb found us a room for overnight until we could find an open garage on Monday and gave us the best rate because it was an emergency. The king-bed room was clean, well-appointed with anything a traveler could want. Next dilemma was our car contained a cooler with 40# of fresh Lake Superior fish we were bringing back. Cooler was too heavy to carry. No cab or Uber in Sidney. Barb stepped in. In 90 minutes she would be off work and would take us to the car, load our cooler and luggage and bring us back to the hotel. She did all that for us or we would have been dumping all that lovely trout and white fish along the highway. GO, BARB!!

I have stayed here several times. I guess it is my go to lodging when in the area. I would rate it as maybe slightly above average for a Quality Inn. Rooms are fine. Mine is always clean and the bed is comfortable. Internet could be a bit better but works ok for the most part. Breakfast is maybe a notch below many of the Choice Hotels that I have stayed. Limited selections, same eggs and sausage every morning. Typical crumbly and dry eggs that I find at many of these hotels. What is worse here is that breakfast is posted as 6:00 to 9:00. Two mornings in a row though when I got down there between 8:15 and 8:30, there were no eggs or sausage at all. They don't pay attention to the breakfast area it seems. Overall though, this is an OK hotel and I will stay here again.

We come to Sidney several times a year. We always stay here and love it. The only issue I have is that they only provide 2 towels, 2 wash cloths & 2 hand towels. I like to use one towel for my hair and one to dry so I always ask for an extra. The shower could have more pressure but isn't too bad. The room is spacious. We had a queen bed with a pull out loveseat. The desk is not on top of the A/C unit so it is comfortable to use your computer. There is also a coffee table in front of the loveseat where a second laptop could be set up. The bed is comfortable.The are plug ins next to the lamp on the nightstand which is very handy. All staff are friendly. Breakfast is run of the mill but they do have a microwave available. I really like this b/c if I have a waffle, I like to heat my syrup.

A spacious room, comfy bed with odorless linens, clean bathroom and easy to operate heat/AC. Polite staff, spotless grounds, good overall location for restaurants. When I couldnt sleep, they let me into secured foyer well before dawn and made coffee early for me. I appreciate places that try hard to get it right, and they have!

This is one of the best Quality Inn motels! We always stay @ Quality or Comfort Inns and this one is tops! Very comfortable bed, spacious room. the only reason I would not give an Excellent rating is because the computer desk is right next to the A/C-heat. there were also some minor cosmetic issues but it does not interfere with a comfortable stay! We really appreciated the plug in with USB ports on the nightstand! Although we did nt use it, there is a safe for your valuables. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there is a microwave available. They do only give you 2 towels, washcloth and hand towels and I had to ask for hair conditioner because the housekeeper left lotion and shampoo. The desk clerks (all of them) were very sweet and helpful!
