We found the hotel staff very pleasant and totally accommodating in every way! Hotel was conveniently located near the Interstate and shopping. Even though we only stayed one night, the hotel allowed us to use their shuttle service to and from the airport, which was above and beyond what was necessary. Family and Pet Friendly. Would recommend for anyone traveling.

Location great. Easy off / /on I-75. Shopping and eateries. Room was nice and clean. Quiet, Bed was comfortable. Had a problem with the heat, and maintenance had to bring in a floor heater for us, which worked. Nice big towels and plenty hot water.

This is a terrific hotel and a really a good value. The experience started with Nicole at the front desk. Nicole couldn't have been more upbeat, efficient, and very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect. Iwould suggest this hotel to anyone!

We are so disappointed by our stay at this hotel. We were visiting our daughter for family weekend at UF and chose this hotel because of its low price and location. We were not in the hotel much and left our room in the morning and returned later on Saturday to find our room was cleaned and later noticed that two pair of earrings and makeup was missing from our room. Before checking out, we thoroughly checked our room and luggage to no avail. The items were gone. We approached the housekeeping supervisor who assured us she would look into it. I called when I got home because she never called back and left a message. After 3 hours, I called again since she didn't return the call and also called the police. She assured me she or the manager would be calling back he next day. I never received a call and when I spoke with the hotel manager, he basically said it was my fault for not using the safe!! I feel it is his fault for hiring a thief. No compensation or room refund was offered- just a "sorry". The housekeeper is still employed there as well. Basically it was my word against hers. Such terrible customer service. We will NEVER stay at Comfort Inn University again!

this place is very clean and kudos to the housekeeping staff! The man at the desk was very welcoming and the room was very cozy. We loved our stay here but i cant even wear the color white or i will mess it up and the entire linens and everything is all white so i kind of walked on eggshells lol, but it is definitely a great motel and i would recommend to everyone looking for a comfy, safe place to sleep in Gainesville, Fl. also breakfast is very nice from fresh fruit to hot biscuits and eggs, yogurt or juices they have it all there. it was our anniversary and the king room was perfect!
