Pretty good but a little tired
Cliff845on 19/11/2017 20:12Overall pretty good with a nice restaurant but the hotel is looking a little tired. Plug in in the bathroom didn't work and the bedspread wasn't too inviting. Hallways were in read of refreshing.The restaurant had very good breakfasts and lunches and were a really good value( full special breakfast for under $6.00)

Gary Gon 16/11/2017 01:00My son and I stayed at the Comfort Inn (Weber St. North/ Waterloo) As I walked in to check in there were at least 10 people smoking by the entrance door. I went to the check in counter and no one eas there. After about 10 minutes someone came in and asked if I was checking in. I said that I was and she told me that I would have to wait for so & so, as she was outside having a smoke break. The lobby area was do thick with cigarette smoke, it gave me a sore throat. I went to my car and sat for 5 minutes, then went back in.
I was able to check in this time. We went to our room and upon entering we were confronted with a strong urine smell.
The room was relatively modern but certainly far from clean!!
The toilet was dirty, the tub did not drain when I had a shower and one of the towels that I grabbed was dirty.
I definitely would not go back.
Good Budget Hotel
chrissybeau73on 14/11/2017 20:16If you want an inexpensive hotel this is a good one. Bathroom cleanliness left a little to be desired. Was there for 3 nights for business and on the third night (Saturday night) the clientelle in the hotel was a bit sketchy and hanging out in the hallways which as a woman staying alone was a bit uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Debbie Fon 07/11/2017 02:44We have been taking a course in Kitchener so we have stayed at this comfort inn a few times this year. Each time we have had a wonderful stay. The room is spacious, with a fridge and microwave. The bed was so comfortable which gave us a restful sleep. We had a main level room with a patio door, which made unloading the car easy. We were also near easy access to main roads, places to eat or shopping etc.
Not at all impressed
ottpakon 04/11/2017 00:26Check in was adequate and the person who checked us in was fine, but the rooms beds were rock hard and when we came in through the side entrance it was evident that the place reeked of smoke and when I say smoke it was the "other" kind. Our stay only lasted 1 of the 2 nights as there were doors slamming all night in fact a lot of yelling and screaming next door and even outside in one of the parking spots was two shopping carts that homeless use. It was not acceptable by any stretch. It was close to the university and that was the biggest draw, but now I would rather drive a distance just to have a decent night sleep.
