Clean friendly place to stay

There is a Denny’s Resturant attached to the Comfort Inn which after a long day of driving, it’s nice to be able to get a meal without getting back in the car. Would definitely stay there again and the price was very reasonable.

Donald at the front desk is super professional, helpful, honest, and always greets you with a smile! He is the reason I keep coming back here because he is accommodating and never forgets a guest! He is a key essential asset to this hotel. Rare to find anyone today that is like him and knows his job so well. He's definitely a keeper! Thank you Donald for always make our stay a pleasurable one! Donald is so good to my family and my little not so little guy "Duke". Rooms are always clean and very comfortable. Thank you all for what you do and making our stay like being at home :)
They Recycle!
Wendy Mon 08/10/2017 17:53We pulled off the highway late in the evening. After booking our room my husband came to the car to comment on how pleasant the desk clerk was in conversation. Our room on the first floor was clean and fresh. Our bed was super comfy causing me to sleep in knowing full well we had to get on the road. I was so pleased to see the recycling bins in the hotel. It made me happy knowing the management cared.
Last Night on Our Trip was Enjoyable
jgemzaon 30/09/2017 23:22Easy access off the interstate next to multiple gas stations. We had reservations and was pleased that check in was fast and cordial. A bus drove in earlier and took the rest of the rooms. The king room was standard and looked like it was updated with comfortable beds and appointed shower. Everything worked fine and room was clean. Breakfast area was crowded and server replenished items rather quickly. A restful night for us.

After 34 consecutive days on the road, we've stayed in approximately 21 Choice Properties. This Comfort Inn is not a 4 or 5 as others state. It is an older property in need of refreshing. The clerk, Donald, hardly greeted us, yes sir'd and yes mam'd us at check in and never made eye contact. When we returned from dinner it was like someone else inhabited his body... he was frenetic as though on a sugar or other high.
Our King room, whileclean, was dark and smallish. It had a wood paneled ceiling, without a ceiling light, which made the room darker. Furnishings were outdated, bathroom was smallish and the fabric shower curtain smelled sour; the room was quiet even though hotel was full w/ a tour group. Breakfast was typical for chain. Probably would choose another hotel when next in Winchester if only for more comfort.
