As always, the place was perfect for our annual fishing trip to the Outer Banks, Chincoteague, and Assateague. Our stop over here was perfect and Lisa was tremendous. I look forward to the trip next year and will definitely stay here again.

Best short vacation for this year. Area is beautiful and the State Parks are fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We had a balcony room and the view was spectacular!!! The complementary breakfasts were great, good variety of foods to pick from.

We had a terrific weekend stay at this hotel! The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was plentiful. We did enjoy the indoor pool which was not overly chlorine-y as many are. The hot tub was a perfect temperature. Our room was very big with a sitting area and a wonderful water view. The extra space for such a reasonable price was a real plus. The only complaint was that the bathroom light and fan were all in one and the fan was loud. At night we were reluctant to turn on the light and wake the rest of the room. A very minor issue, for sure! Overall, we had a great mini-vacation and really appreciated everything this hotel had to offer.

My wife and I recently took our seven year old granddaughter for an overnight to the Comfort Suites in Chincoteague, Virginia. We absolutely love this hotel and all the wonderful amenities attached to it. The indoor pool is heated along with a large jacuzzi. The rooms are large and spacious with beautiful views of the water. The hotel serves an excellent free buffet for breakfast with plenty of items to choose from. If this isn’t enough to make us want to return then the friendly staff would be the deciding factor. The staff is always smiling and very accommodating to the customer’s needs. This hotel is definitely on our list of favorite getaways.

This is not our first review of this hotel, but the circumstances warranted a follow up review. We had reserved a room through a third party for a date later that week. We had an unfortunate change of plans and needed an earlier date to stay. Katherine was wonderfully understanding and was able to switch arrival days and retain the great rate we booked in advance for. Our future plans will be for an extended stay stay instead of just a stop over. It would be easy to go on about the other great things about this hotel, but instead I'll just give it six stars * * * * * *.
