I called in a reservation and paid for a single king, being 6'6" tall that sort of thing comes in handy for me. Walked in to find a double queen instead. Too tired from a long day to worry, figured I'd take a shower and call it a night....decided to scrub out the tub before I got in. Now to go to bed diagonally with my feet hanging off.

We really liked this newer hotel and furnishings. Staff were nice. Breakfast was superb. Our only surprise was the loud train horn at 3:15am. Very close by the hotel, out back. Heard the train horn again in the morning. Maybe getting a room on the front side would help. Pool hours extremely limited, 3pm - 9pm. We would come stay here again.

Wonderful rooms for a family at a great rate!! We so enjoyed our stay, very clean, the wonderful comfy beds and the friendly staff. The pool was very nice. Hotel was right off the highway and easy to get in and out of. Great place to stay on our journey back from Florida. Only complaint was the gravy was too salty at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Price was right, people at the front desk were great, breakfast was good, beds had had too many bodies on them but pillows were good and railroad was too close, but again, price was right!!
I slept good and will return.

I think the guy that drew the renovation plans never stayed in one of the rooms. The wing wall that was added by the bed stops the air circulation. Maybe they reduced the bathroom size also so they could add the sofa. They really needed to swing the bathroom door out rather than in. If you're a big person and have large feet then your toes may be in the way of shutting the door. ))))
The whole place was average or below.
They did have FSSW so we got to watch the Texas Rangers baseball game. Albeit we had to pull the TV to the extreme so that we could see it from the bed.
The bathtub floor was extremely slick and without a grab handle.
The breakfast was poor. The normal coffee urn was empty. The pre-prepare eggs were too salty. The hard boiled eggs had a funk on them like they were over a week old. I settled for yogurt and fruit.
We did sleep well, got a bath and hit the road but I don't think I will look for them again.
