Older But Quite Nice
Don312on 08/11/2017 22:40The Hotel is set back from the road so it is very quiet back there. After a little mix-up with the type of room we wanted, we settled in. We like the mini-suites with the couch, frig, and microwave. The bed was comfortable and we were very happy with the stay which was free with our points with Choice Hotels. We liked the desk clerk too. Can't beat that.
Enjoyable stay during a busy game weekend.

The refrigerator and seating area were good for refreshments and visiting. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The line to the waffle maker was long both mornings though, a second one would have been nice. Would stay there again.
Good mid ranged motel
daddymo2on 30/07/2017 21:20Stayed here and it was a nice stay. The rooms were fine and nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Area restaurants were close within walking and driving distance. Had no problems. A nice stay at a fair price.

cedar4604on 26/07/2017 17:54The hotel sits off of University Drive by a few hundred yards. The approach is really overgrown and weedy. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. The staff members were welcoming and friendly. The room was standard and acceptable. By the pool was a different overgrown and weedy-- overgrown construction workers whose smokes were weedy... this back entrance seemed to be a regular hangout for them.
Letdown by Choice Hotels
Rich Zon 08/05/2017 19:44Been a Choice Hotel rewards member since 2006, and this was one of the few properties I won't go back too. The rooms were great, beds & pillows were better than average, but the exterior of the property was trashed. Lots of soda/beer cans laying around, pop tops on sidewalks, swim area was filthy with a broken Jacuzzi and lots of cigarette buts all over the swimming pool walking area. Pool itself was dirty and needed cleaned. When we informed management, they said they could have someone look at it the next day, and that someone else had previously reported it. Sad they'd let the cleanliness at least go untouched, I mean: Pick up dirty towels, sweep debris from walking areas, vacuum pool.
