This is our first weekend staying at this hotel. Management goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. About 30 minutes upon arrival the front desk called to ask if everything was to our liking and if our room was going to work for us. I thought that was very considerate and professional. The pool is a good size and rooms are large and quiet. We rented 2 rooms and asked to be next to each other and we were told that wouldn't be a problem. My family and I will be staying here everytime we travel up this way.

I travel quarterly to the Elgin area for business and I always stay here. I've never had an issue at this hotel. The hotel is clean with very friendly staff. It's also within walking distance to many restaurants.

When traveling with children it's hard to find a place that has large enough friends and a acceptable hot breakfast. We found it!
This hotel offers great and the rates online. It's clean with large rooms. Our room had a kitchenette in it which was wonderful to have a children.
The breakfast was hot, with sausage, eggs, waffles etc.

We had a standard King Bed room that had a sofa, frig, microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, free WiFi. Truthfully it was the best night's sleep that I have ever gotten at a hotel. Hotel is clean and looks modern/up to date. Indoor pool is good sized. Guest laundry room on site. Breakfast buffet had a variety of hot and cold items plus the Make your Own Belgian waffles. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Hotel located close to expressway and easy to get to. There are restaurants near by at various cost levels: Panera, Starbucks, a pizza/sandwich restaurant, Chinese, Sports Bar, and a place with fast food like burgers/sandwiches. Sports bar can get noisy and is right behind hotel, so getting a room in front might be better.

While traveling home from Iowa we stopped at this comfort suites and could not be more impressed with our stay. Tyler at the front desk was absolutely great. When we stated a problem we had he did everything he could to make it right. The breakfast was also much better than expected. If you're traveling through Elgin, would definitely give this Comfort Suites a try! Thank you Tyler!!
