My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Suites in Florence Alabama for two nights. It was our first time in Alabama, and after fourteen hours in a car driven from Wisconsin, we were exhausted and looking forward to checking in at the hotel. The lobby was clean and bright, and the hotel itself looks either new or recently remodeled. The check in clerk Tammy was pleasant and welcoming, and our room was clean and spacious. The king sized bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner reliably kept the room cool and dry (necessary in 90 degree heat and humidity). There is a Walmart and strip malls and chain restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. The Continental breakfast served in the morning had surprisingly quite a few choices and was very good. I guess my only gripe was the pool and hot tub area, which while clean and well kept like the rest of the hotel, for some reason the pool water was heated up to almost the same temperature as the hot tub. I'm not sure if this is common in the south, but it didn't make for the refreshing swim I had hoped for. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience and we would definitely book this hotel again next time we visit the Florence area.

Really enjoyed my stay here, rooms were very clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, lots of channel choices for the TV and staff were friendly and pleasant.
Not sure why they only built one elevator! But it wasn't too much of a problem. The pool was nice, but it shared the same water and temperature as the hot tub... It felt a little weird.
All in all I'll definitely recommend this hotel 100% oh and the breakfast was very good!!

This hotel had great check-in, and the room was sparkling clean. The lobby was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the area was kept very clean between guests which is very appreciated. The pool area looked nice and kept up also. There is one problem, they are building a new building very close to the hotel, the trucks for that are in the way and cause some safety issues. There is also a new trampoline place close and the noise from A/C units go all the time. But the whole stay was great.

We had a weekend stay with our niece & it was excellent. The breakfast was tasty. The room was very tidy & quite comfortable and the pool water was the perfect temperature. We will stay here again & again!

Stayed her for two nights during a road trip with my son. The location is a little weird, but the room was clean, modern and had excellent a/c (the humidity could be the death of me!). The front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions. The hot breakfast was actually quite good for a hotel breakfast--all sorts of continental breakfast items, fresh made waffled, biscuits and gravy, sausage, pancakes....nice touch!
