Last minute stop was fabulous!

We were traveling home and decided to stop at this hotel enroute. We stay in many Choice hotels, and this one is prime. I requested a quiet room, third floor, away from freeway and it was so quiet! Rooms were large. Upon arrival, there were newspaper, cookies and lemon water available. For breakfast, the usual waffles, cold and hot cereals, and pastries/breads. They also had scrambled eggs, 4 kinds of meat (bacon, turkey sausage patty, regular sausage patty and sausage links) and biscuits and sausage/gravy. Check in/out went very smoothly. Rooms/hotel were very clean, the grounds were very nice, with even tractor implements around the property for display; a happy spot for tractor lovers. There is even a Tesla re-charging station across the street. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are traveling through.
Great place to stop

Room was exceptionally clean, customer service was great, breakfast provided, hot tub and pool. Corporate definitely needs to hire an extra person for front desk to help the busy employee. Zero complaints!
Good stop on a long drive

Stayed at this property for one night while on a driving trip. There isn't much around Gothenberg, but the property was comfortable and quiet. Enjoyed a good night's sleep. The dining options in the area were not good, but the prices for food and for the room were acceptable. I would stay at this property again.
Stop along the way

We chose this hotel as a stop to just sleep on our trip. It was surprisingly a little gem in the middle of what seemed nowhere. Very clean, comfortable and great staff.
The breakfast is the usual simple free breakfast, but it was decent to get us going again down the road.
a pleasant week's stay

This hotel exceeded our expectations, and with the weekly rate, it was a great deal. too.
Favorite things about our stay:
We were on the top floor, and were pleased with the quietness of the room, even when the hotel was full.
The bed was comfortable, though the top quilt was too heavy. Once we traded it for a regular blanket, it was perfect.
Everything was clean, including the stairwell, which we used several times a day.
The translucent divider between the bed and the sitting area gave the room the feeling of a suite while not blocking light from the window.
We were just across the street from the Nebraska Barn and Grill, and within walking distance of Pizza Hut.
Twice we walked on the footpath just west of the hotel leading through trees toward a pond and a river. Sadly, the owners have used this area for junk storage, but once we got past that, we were rewarded with seeing, one day, three fawns springing across the path in front of us; and another morning, a fox sitting in the sun washing its face.
From our top story window, we enjoyed watching the Tesla charging station in operation. Okay, yes, we ARE from the country....
Everyone was friendly. My husband actually had the opportunity to visit with one of the owners of the hotel (who, incidentally, is also the owner of the Tesla station, and of the Nebraska Barn and Grill. Also incidentally. if you eat at the NB&G and mention that you're staying at Comfort Suites, you'll get a discount.) The owner was friendly and down-to-earth, as Nebraskans tend to be.
Neutral to negative things:
The breakfast, as others have said, was typical, and the seating area a bit small.
Our thermostat never did work. We went from shivering to sweating. Gradually we learned how to adjust it up and down to keep the temperature reasonably comfortable.
The ice machine leaked badly, and the area around it smelled musty. They did work on it while we were there, after which the amount of water on the floor was definitely less, though the odor remained.
Our final impression was positive, and if we ever need to stay in the area again, this hotel will be our first choice, by far.
