Our trip to Southport was awesome. We checked in to Comfort Suites on 11/9/2017 late in the evening. The lady who checked us in was new but took great care of us. The room was clean and the staff was outstanding. Normally we don't eat breakfast in hotels but this time we thought we would give it a try. We were excited at how good it was. Vicky watched the bar closely to monitor the supply and by the way, it was delicious! We are already planning our next trip to Southport and we will be staying here again. Thanks so much.

Our stay was great! The room was newly renovated & even though the hotel was under renovation we didn't hear any noise from the workers. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was awesome (plenty of hot water & pressure!) We've already told friends about how nice they are here & they're pet friendly! We'll definitely stay here again!

The Hotel Is A Great Escape In A Small Town, Decked With An Outdoor Pool And Small BBQ Area For Intimate Occasions, On Top Of That They Do A Great Cleaning Job Especially With All The Construction Workers That Come To Stay You Couldn’t Tell, They Make Accommodations For Everyone To Be Comfortable And Enjoy Their Stay , Breakfast In The Morning And Fresh Baked Cookies And Popcorn On The Afternoon, As For The Service The Staff Are Quick And Very Pleasant, Making Sure To Always Smile And Interact. I Was Especially Fond Of The Manager And Night Desk Worker Jessie I Give This Hotel An Easy 4.5 Out Of 5 Stars And I’ve Been To A Lot Of Different Hotels In Many States, Don’t Even Thank Me Just Go And See For Yourself

My debit card was billed twice for the first night. I let the staff know... their response was.. oh well it was just a preauthorization it will fall off in a few days. Well that preauthorizathion still rediced my available balance in my checking account by almost $100 not that any of them seemed to care. The beds were hard as sleeping on concrete, and the pillows that were on the bed were little toy squares barely big enough to lay your head on. I had to go purchase pillows for the stay. Also the night when when we checked in was sure to point out... if your take anything there is a $250 charge like I was a theif, then the day we checked out the lady asked if out stay was ok I said not really, she wanted to apply a $10 credit to my account,,, I would like NO dont touch it, I am afraid you will end up charge me doe another nights stay... and i told her i had been already charged for the first night twice. Well guess what she put a cresit on there for the charge for the extra night... everything fixed right... oh nothe extra charge did fall off my accoubt on its own... it jist didnt notice it, so my account was showinf &90 extra that i didnt know, so i used it.... then it fell off at midnight causinf me to get an overdrat fee... I was ready to call the bank and fuss because I have never had an over drast but after looking bacn at my account, i figured it out, the carges deim thr hotel is what was causing it.... no needless to i will not be staying here again. A Manager was supposed to call me back on the Saturdsy while we were stsying there... but guess what— no call... we could not even part at the hotel we had to park at the vets office next door and just pray we were towed

First time in Southport & Comfort Suites. Despite being under construction we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location. Delicious breakfast. And, by far, the friendliest staff ever! We'll be back!!
