Old / no maintenance hotel... A/C is really dirty, broken windows. Totally out of the Confort brand quality! Check for other options in this city!
Hotel muito largado, sem manutenção... O ar condicionado do quarto, além de velho, é muito sujo. Janelas quebradas. totalmente diferente dos outros hotéis da marca Confort..

I stayed at this hotel for a week and hated it! It wasn't very clean, was very dingy, and in a sketchy looking part of town. The breakfast was average, the dinner served in the hotel was terrible, but the caipirinha's were good. I've stayed at the Novatel before and my colleagues have stayed at the Mercure and both were much much better but I booked a last minute trip and this hotel was the only one available. The worst part of the hotel however was that I needed an itemized receipt at the end of my stay to submit to my company and they could not provide one! This was not a problem at the Novatel or Mercure. My admin had to call this hotel multiple times (and the front desk staff does not speak english) to get something that would be acceptable.

It's a very good option if you want to rest for a while before taking an early flight in São José dos Campos.
The Hotel is abt 10 minutes driving to the airport and less than that to Center Vale, a nice Shopping Center nearby.
Very warm reception, parking place, free internet and a very nice bed.

I previously stayed at the mercure but I stayed at this hotel this time around because it was the only American hotel in the area and I could accrue points to use in the states. As soon as I got to my room after checking in I went directly back downstairs to ask for another room because mine was terrible. I was told by the limited english speaking staff all of the rooms were the same. The room was small, had a 15 year old TV set, and the shower barely fits one person. The next day I saw my sheet had two blood stains on them (which I took a picture of). The breakfast was compromised of old tasking food and horrible eggs. After 5 days of dealing with room this I found out they do have about 5 better rooms but by that time none were available. After coming back home I saw I was never given credit for my points and put in a request. I was later sent an email stating "does not currently qualify to earn Choice Privileges points". I cant believe I dealt with this for nothing.
