The the first impression with the Guest House as you enter the door is quaint, It ends There! I knew enough about this place to bring our own gallon of water and travel cups. We stayed for 3 days and the first night we turned the A.C. on it was like I had started a motorcycle! After some smacking and adjusting of the fan speed it was a low rumble, like a diesel engine on idle. The Lobby clerks were friendly and the room was clean. It is over priced for just a room. The Board Walk, and Transportation is just a short walk away. This is a no frills or extras type of Guest House.
3 Stars, thats long ago..

Just checked in today. Its not Worth the Money. Would not recomend to stay here. Pool area is not delicat, furnitures, will not sit in them and the cafe chairs are more than dirty. Chairs in room are dirty. The fridge only works in the freezer. My cold stuf are now Warm from An hour in the lover part. Have now out it in the freezer as i cant get ice from the ICE bucket, they dont have more for the moment. The Girl in the reception tried to fix me some but could not get it from their other hotel... 🙃🙄
It not worth the money here, Price is overrated Big time.

In the center of town.

This hotel is located in the center of town close to some of the best restaurants on island. Just footsteps away from the board walk and the historical fort (if your into that kind of things). Boardwalk offer many tourist activities including diving, snorkeling and a boat ride to the island of Buck Island.
Horrible experience

I reserved two rooms for my family and I and from the moment I checked in I knew i was in the wrong place. We had to sign for a remote. On our way to the room which had outside entrance we passed the pool which was green, had not been cleaned for weeks. Got to the room and it resembled a motel that you would rent by the hour. My wife and I finally settled in our room and my daughter and her cousin settled in their room. At about 2 in the morning there was a loud banging on our door. We looked through the peep hole and it was our daughter very frantic outside. E opened the door and she was screaming in pain. She just got bit by a centipede that just happened to be in the bed with her. We took her to ER for treatment. After spending 3 hrs in the ER we came back to the hotel and no one wanted to sleep. All four of us stayed in the same room until the next day. We immediately checked out of the hotel and requested to speak with a member of management. No one was available for that day so we decided to sit in the hotel until management showed up. No luck with that, they was avoiding us. The next day e finally cornered a manager and she did not want to work with us. Bottom line she said no money back and she did not care. Take her to small claims court.
Spend a little more money elsewhere

Even if you are on a strict budget I strongly recommend finding other lodging. I stayed here two nights Sept. 2015. There were either bed bugs, or Mosquitos in the room because my legs and arms were riddled with horrid bug bites that appeared overnight. The bathroom was not up to par with even a two star hotel. I requested that the shower curtain be removed because it was stained (nasty), as were the wall tiles AND old towels. The air conditioning was extremely loud making it difficult to fall asleep. There were no throw rugs for the bare floor. Everything in the room is worn and old. The lobby is beautiful, the small pool inviting; but in the end you may be in a dreadful room similar to the one I was in, if not THE room! Staff was very kind and helpful; they were apologetic re the hotel's condition. The Company House Hotel has been up for sale for a while. Before booking, read other guests reviews. This hotel may very well be okay for someone like you.
