Comfy and practical stay at the last moment

The hotel is really close to the central station. The room I was given was clean and well furnished in a modern style. Tea, coffee and an electric kettle are available in the room.
My special thanks to Mr. Rasmus, the concierge, for his and his help and proficiency.
Great location! Not so great hotel!

I'll start off with the one good point I can say about this hotel.. the location! It's in a great location 1 min walk to Copenhagen central station which was 15mins direct on the train. Also close to the city centre and many landmarks, attractions places to visit etc .. trains are easy to use but we wanted to walk and explore.
So the hotel - Myself and 2 friends stayed here for 2 nights first weekend in November. We booked a family room for 4 via booking.com
Check in queue was long with one person serving! Anyways after check in we was given a room for 2 with a sofa bed. Called reception from that room - bare in mind you are charged for the calls to reception- never come across this before and there was no warning what so ever! The room was changed quickly however this could have been avoided as my booking was confirmed by the reception staff serving us before giving us the room. So we had to go back down and up again.
Wifi was rubbish only worked when it wanted to.
Rooms were very very average. Beds are not that comfy - woke up with back pain!
Rooms were very cold heating didn't work! Had to sleep with jumpers on!
Dirty towels with stains on them!
I would only return to this hotel because it's very close to the station and centre and a 1-2 night stay would be the maximum. I can't even say you get what you pay for as this wasn't exactly the cheapest hotel either.
Great location and good value

Stayed here for 3 nights and found everything great.
Close to train station, hop on/off bus and shops, etc.
Breakfast was good selection of fresh foods and plenty of cafes, hotels, restaurants nearby.
A reception desk in chaos!

Rooms ok, bed ok, cleaning ok, breakfast good, wi-fi ok, but the service; lousy!
Lots of confusion at the reception desk. The dayshift do not know what the evening-/ and nightshift have been up to so you will spend an irritating amount of time hassling with whoever manns the desk about price, check-in and check-out. I think these poor employees must be under-paid and they certainly are under-trained.
The manager and the owners must be busy counting the profits, becaus they dont seem to be wasting time on making the guest feel welcome!
Good for getting around the city

For British travellers this hotel is like a Travelodge before they were renovated. Basic but clean with all essentials but no luxuries. The corridor of our floor had been renovated and was very smart. Beds soft but a bit too little support. Very cheap pillows. Just on the wall shower gel/shampoo in one. Tiny paper cups for tea and coffee and very limited supplies - no decaf, only one coffee whitener - no milk, a few fruit teas, one earl grey. Wasn't restocked in our 3 night stay. Towels changed daily - had a bath mat the first night but that disappeared the next day and never returned as did our friend's from their room. We asked for a quiet room and were given a very quiet location at the end of a corridor away from the lifts. We looked into the courtyard - some noise around 10-11pm from neighbouring flats and the hotel's smoking area but could hear nothing with the windows closed. No noise from neighbouring rooms or corridors. Breakfast is good - lovely choice of rolls warm from the oven, crisp fresh mini croissants and mini pastries. Good selection of cheeses, hams, fresh fruit and salad items. Scrambled eggs, bacon and mini hot dog sausages also available. All restocked quickly. We didn't have a problem getting a table even when the hotel was full though the area is fairly small. Helpful friendly staff on reception. Ideal location - 2 minutes from the station which has direct trains to the airport. Don't use the metro to get there - you have to change to the S trains as the link to the station is still being built. The new metro has made a building site of the town hall square and other parts of the city. Was easy to walk to all main sites, we got the S train out to the little mermaid and walked back. Also went on the canal trip. Meat packing district just round the corner but we found it very expensive. Liked the Cafe Apropos just round the corner from the hotel, lovely food at all times of day and night at normal Copenhagen prices. Station shops handy for snacks, drinks, sandwiches, pastries. Easy to catch the train out to Roskilde to visit the Viking ships and cathedral where all the Danish kings and queens are buried, the modern art gallery or Helsingør. This hotel is absolutely fine for a weekend stay. Was the best value we could find for our dates as prices in the city are high. We enjoyed a visit to the Glyptotek on a rainy afternoon - fabulous Impressionist paintings collected by the founder of Carlsberg.
