We stayed here for 2 nights , due to Waterton wild fires we were redirected to Golden. The rooms are large and comfortable, being low season Corks was closed during our stay. We ate at the pub 30 seconds and enjoyed trips on the gondals.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a summer road trip. Upon first arrival it was gorgeous from the outside and a very nice
Lobby, a bit of a drive from town but worth it to be out of the hustle and bustle. Had to walk to the lodge next door for reception but she was very friendly, accommodating and answered all of our questions. When we got to the room it seemed super clean, other than there was laundry laying on the floor in the closet bunched up that we did not know if it was dirty or clean. We arrived on a day that was very hot outside and was for the rest of our trip so it was disappointing not to have any air conditioning, though they do give you a fan. No plushy robes in the rooms like advertised, though we didn't ask reception for them. Also a bigger television in the room would've been nice, the one provided is pretty small and the hot tub advertised was also too hot to even stick your foot in so that was a let down. I would say it's a bit overpriced for the room you get but overall a super nice lodge, very quite and clean feeling and the breakfast was very good. We would come back in winter to give it a try.

Awesome stay here for 3 weeks of fun and skiing. Staff were amazing so much fun and very friendly. Huge rooms with a big comfortable bed and just a short drive from Golden Located just a short walk to the gondola, absolute perfect location. Definitely coming back to enjoy the snow next year!

Stayed here 3 nights and really enjoyed it. It's located an easy walk to the lifts, even in ski boots. Our room just off the main floor was really big and clean and had everything we needed. The free breakfast in the morning was excellent and a perfect pre-skiing fuel up, the eggs were particularly awesome. The Quebecois woman who hosted the breakfasts was super friendly and helpful.
The check in and booking is all done through the Winston Lodge next door. Amy was really great and helped us with questions about lift tickets and stuff leading up to our visit. There was a small mixed up with housekeeping not knowing we were there but it wasn't a big deal and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Oh also the ski room was really helpful and they had a wall of boot dryers that were great too.
We didn't get a chance to eat in Corks but the food next door in the Kicking Horse Saloon at Winston Lodge was excellent!

My initial impression was that we were getting more than we had paid for: Hot tub, breakfast included, big room with two single beds. Turns out it was priced just about right.
This was a summer visit for a bachelor party held in a nearby rental house, but a friend and I decided we needed a safe place to escape to if things got out of hand. The Copper Horse Lodge fit the bill. The lodge is very quiet, it is conveniently located across the gravel parking lot from the local watering hole, and the complementary breakfast is plentiful. It's not great food, but it'll get you on the road and to the golf course.
The only slight reproach I have is that staff are conspicuously absent. Other than when we checked it, we never saw any staff. At that time we had to call out a few times, and the receptionist eventually appeared. When I wanted to ask if there were any larger spoons to eat my cereal at breakfast, I found that the kitchen was deserted. By the way the way, the bar, which doubles as the dining room, was left open for anyone who might have wanted an eye-opener with their eggs; though not on the complementary menu, all the alcohol was readily accessible.
The room was "resort standard". The beds were too soft, but that's better than too hard. The washroom was nice, with a large shower. The view isn't great, but this wasn't a romantic getaway. So, overall, we got what we paid for, with breakfast thrown in.
