Lars Pon 21/11/2017 07:28It is taken out of a story-tale, like Soria Moria, situated on the peak overlooking eastern part of Åre.
Entering you get the same feeling as a hotel in Aspen, very US top notch ski resort oriented. You will love it.
I you arrive by car, drive straight into the parking cellar, grab a free lot. You might be to late if you wait until you have checked in.
The staff is very service minded and true professionals, reception, waiters, kitchen you name it. We have been visiting a few times since way back when Choice took management. The hotel is still well kept and the room standard is really good, a bit worn here and there, so hotel management it is all about keeping up appearances if you want guests to have a delightful stay. Generally the rooms are spacious and first class.
The dinner menu is based upon short traveled food, all good. Wine selection is top notch. Breakfast is rich, large variations and most enjoyable.
The hotel is mostly packed in the week-ends, young families, after ski hang arounds to bus loads of companies having a break out session. Truly sights and sounds to enjoy.

Linn Bon 24/10/2017 07:56Always great service and friendly staff. Nice spa and treatments. Very good atmosphere and beautiful location. Very good food and well organized service during all the meals. The bartenders were also effective and the drinks they made tasted good.
Great, yet room for much improvement

First. The rooms are great, the breakfast is great, the spa is great, the bar is great, the view is great.
The trouble is that the hotel has really made a bad choice in placing the restaurant and bar. They should take a chunk out of the top floor and move the restaurant and the bar there. They should also add a library that makes use of the view. Considering that the hotel is alone on a hilltop and the city centre is far away makes this even worse. The hotel doesn't feel complete, you want to go outside.
If this was fixed it would be one of the best hotels in Europe.

Frode Uon 13/10/2017 09:24Since my last visit Copperhill has become even better. More effective breakfast akd dinner serving. Excellent food and dinner menues. They have installed outdoor jacuzzi with access from the indoor pool area. Good bar menu. Excellent rooms and averall service. One of the best hotels Ihave stayed at.
Fancy mountain lodge
Mathis A Hon 04/10/2017 21:00Very fancy mountain lodge that has its price - but worth it. Located at the top of the ski tracks, close to nature. Good food and exquisit drinks. Nice staff. Quiet. Great rooms. Good spa. Relaxed atmosphere.
