We stayed here with about 20 friends who were attending the Barbados Swim Festival.
The Coral Mist has spacious rooms, full kitchens, and every room has a patio facing the ocean.Rooms were about $100-$130/night for the full suites. Despite all these positives, there were some problems. We were on the fourth floor and the elevator intermittently failed, seeming whenever we had groceries or baggage. The free WiFi was also on and off, and very very slow. That's a problem shared most places on Barbados. The air conditioning was barely adequate, and it could not cool the room during the day. About half the outlets did not work. Even so, the cheap prices, good location, and friendly staff compensated.

We were part of a larger Ocean-Swim group that came down for the event. Most of us stayed here for that reason.
This is a very basic hotel/resort currently going through a makeover of sorts.Construction was a bit disturbing at times. A/C units not so good. Some rooms are more updated than others. We stayed in an efficiency, one-bedroom unit with some upgrades. Bathroom was not in good shape but we were not in the unit all that much so it didn't matter to us. No real restaurant or bar but there are some nearby. Front desk and housekeeper staff all very nice and gracious. We used their hired taxi service to move us from place to place and he was very reliable.
The beach and water access was great and it was somewhat private so that was a big plus for all of us. This is the selling point for the rate per night.

Good location and good value for money. Big rooms that were clean.
Staff for the most part were friendly and offered assistance in any way they could. The only complaint I had a room near the lobby and guests didnt care to be quiet so as to not disturb sleeping guests while passing in and out in the early morning hours

Decided to visit Barbados last minute for a few days. Best bet was the Coral Mist hotel. As a single traveler, the location was ideal. Within walking from supermarket and majority of restaurants in Rockley/Worthing area, I was not concerned for my safety. As for the hotel accomodations, the room was ideal on the second floor, but the ac did not work 100% . Other than that, security was on point. Staff was okay. They did accomodate when I requested a room on the second floor. and the beach view was fantastic, right at your door. Would definitely return there again.

This hotel was very basic! We booked a room for 3 people and our bed was two beds placed together. POOR WIFI! The room was clean but I wouldn't stay at this hotel for a long stay. The hotel is on the beach which was very clean and that's the only thing that made the hotel nice.
Compared to the other hotel we stayed at in Barbados, taxis do not frequently come to this hotel so be prepared to wait about 15 minutes.
Good enough location though.
