I stayed here along with a friend for more than a week in the month of September 2016. This hotel is more of a guest house than a hotel, it is located not on the main road but in the back lane of BE block.
The room that we stayed was on the 3rd floor and it was ok with a television which is old style. The bathroom was of good size but it feels a bit dated. The Breakfast was 3 chapathi's with chana curry, omelette, banana and Tea/coffee.
The Laundry was pricey at Rs.120 per kilogram just for washing [no iron] and be careful of the laundry personnal, he can cheat you. For me the best thing is the location as I had work nearby and all types of transport is available from this place.

It is an average type guest house located in the narrow lane ( not on the main road) of salt lake. I have to call the owner as it was difficult to find the hotel. Room was average rated, with no telephone in the room. Tv was outdated. Bathroom was spacious with gyser fitted.
Will not recommend for family.

Hi All,
I booked this hotel through makemytrip after seeing the pictures there. I was under the impression that the hotel would be good and offer nice service but on arriving...it took me an hour to find the hotel's location!! there is no any board displaying the name of the hotel (however a 10X5 cm hotel name's slip was hanging outside the front gate). Access promised to wifi was not there..internet was not working at all...there was not even the door handle to the room which I was given. Lots of mosquito and no anti-mosquito was provided. there were only two guys in the name of staff.
I would not recommend this particular hotel to anyone visiting Kolkata. However, the price they charged is of the level of Ginger's.

It was not a hotel but a average guest house,with a very limited facility.Irony is that salt lake kolkata only has guest houses & no proper hotels; only saving grace was the care taker & staff were extremely helpful & polite.They knew their deficiencies & tried to keep guest happy.

During my business trip, I stayed here for 5 days.
The room and bathroom are spacious with basic facilities like TV, AC, small refrigerator, water geyser etc... Each room has a small opening.
The location is in the middle of the residential colony.
Limited option for breakfast. If you want lunch/dinner then prior information is needed as they will cook for you only. I had dinner twice there, which is more likely a home made.
House keeping was done daily.
They have an open/common sitting area on each floor (3 floor building) along with a TV/music system.
Highly recommended at much affordable price.
