It is a clean comfortable hotel with restricted facilities. The rooms are large with the outside wall made entirely of glass which gives the room airy and bright look. The downside of the big glass window and door was that there was a gap all around the door which opens in the balcony. This gap between the door panel and jamb is enough for insects and lizards to have uninterrupted access to the room.
The dining room is huge with few tabels and chairs. The decor is lacking, and gives the appearance of a wedding hall, which i suspect it also serves the same purpose as the hotel advertises for weddings.
We had taken full board, ie all 3 meals included in the package. The menu on all 3 meals is restricted. The breakfast buffet has 1 north indian and 1 south indian dish, and a choice of egg - fried, boiled or omlette. The bread served is only of 1 type and is white - we did not explore if brown bread can be made available on request. Similarly, the lunch and dinner menus are only Indian dishes - 2 vegetables, dal, and 1 chicken dish.
The swimming pool is big(ish) with max depth of 5 ft - thus ideal for non-swimmers to have fun in the water. The gym has some equipments, but sparse in its choice of machines - notably only cycle was available for aerobics. Conspicous was the absence of yoga mats.
The staff are polite and helpful. We stayed there for 3 nights, and room attendants got to know our requirements, and did their best to fulfill them without us asking for the same things repeatedly. however, the standards of service can be improved.
There is parking space on the property, but on the last night we saw some cars parked on the roadside -either due to the choice of the respective owners or lack of availability.
Wifi is available only at the main reception of the hotel, and not in the rooms.

Initially what in person i liked about this resort was the Quality of service(QOS) .... "Responsive & sincere" :) Moving on to some dining : - Well is definitely gonna save some of your hard earned cash & in addition the food is delicious ;). State of imagation :- The green lawns outside can prove to be a perfect place for spending the night across the latent heat of the burning coal (During the peak winters) & yeah the drinks too offcourse ;) . Why a "4" then instead of "5" ? :- The monstrous/freakish mosquitos around the cool swimming pool were annoying in the evening. Though we managed to have fun even under the mentioned circumstances :p. So, to conclude the above, only one word :- "Recommened". Oh i forgot PS:- Dont worry about the cleanliness, they got it all sorted ;).

Good Resort for Budget Travellers

This is the second time I have visited the property, this time with my complete family. We have booked two rooms for two nights. The food taste was same really good and restaurant staff was good. The resort is located at very convenient place and greenery was well maintained. The property was not well maintained as compared to my last visit around 11 months back. The cleaning of common areas/rooms was not up to mark, swimming pool area was in bad condition, washroom needs repairs, the phone was never picked from our rooms whether dialed at reception/room service, AC's was not working 100% and power cut was very frequent.

Please do not take above mentioned issues as complaint, take them as areas of improvement. As I again wanted to visit this property so I seriously advise Hotel Management to do maintenance in resort and arrange some training for the hotel staff so that they should be responsible and more courteous specially room service/reception staff.

Nice reso,t.good staff, good service,food was okkk.swimming pool need to maintain.washroom of pool side is not that much good.need to lookafter.and plz mention the coustume charges.that wass highly charged coustume.

Hi Readers, I am here to share with you my experience about this property recently explored as last minute booking through MMT.
Its not hotel first of all, their main business is banqueting in lawns or they have big hall with a first floor having rooms. Its far from river, any entry point or corbett fall as its on main room while entering ramnagar. Their banquet hall has party set up to take breakfast or lunch/dinner. Though food doesnt have much variety but they offer decent food.
I dont know real price of property but I feel we over paid and MMT should know about it.
The biggest flaw can be maintenance of rooms, geyser problem, tv remote problem, heater trips down, not having proper extra bed and provided mattress on floor for which they charged extra Rs.800 per night.
They have a lawn where kids can play around, badminton hall (not clean) and pool for recreation activity.
My husband faced very strange experience in room no.112, which I must share. After day end in the night, he took one chair out in balcony to sit for a while. The moment he sat he heard little movement at his back and found a dark tall guy standing behind him. He got so scared because when he was keeping chair there was no body. He immediately came back and locked the door and when we checked again there was no one. It was for sure not allusion or anything but yes it was terrifying experience for him as he froze with tall guy suddenly standing behind him.
We reported this to hotel staff who denied possibility but yes we experienced something which we want to share.
Thank god I didnt leave my children behind to have family time next door which we had plan prior and stayed that throughout with them.
Management should find out what was it or is it and if they are aware of pls think about guests safety.
