We went in Mid May for Jungle Safari. Resort is near by the River. You can take a walk from back side of the resort and reach to the river. Resort has a private cottages surrounded by gardens & Mango trees. Swimming pool is also there. Management need to do some renovation in dining area. Food quality is okay. Can not complain with this prices. Overall its a budget resort to stay.

i stay in resort with my family for 2 days stay . food was awesome. and all hotel staff is very good . i recomended for all my friends to stay here
. mr manoj opretion manager is very nice and copretive person . we will come again

The facilities we were told in inclusions are as under :-
Inclusions Of Package
> Welcome Drinks on Arrival (not served)
> Arrangements of bonfire
> Pool Side DJ on 31st Of dec. (DJ was in grassless garden and not poolside)
> Unlimited Soda / Soft Drinks on 31st Of dec ( For 2 Hrs ) (Hotel Staff denied serving after 1.5 hours saying it was stock out)
> Unlimited Veg + Non Veg Snacks on 31st Of dec ( For 2 Hrs ) (Hotel Staff denied serving after 1.5 hours saying it was stock out)
> Cake Ceremony on 31st Of dec (There was no cake)
> Surprise Gifts for every Guest (Surprised with no gifts)
> River accessed from resort (Gate always closed)
> In house Music system for evening Party (was out of service)
> Large Size Swimming Pool (broken beer bottles inside the pool which was not cleaned for months as per staff) (injured my foot)
Other issues:
> Anything requested from room service will take atleast 2 hours to be served. A towel requested at 9:30 AM was delivered at 12 noon.
> French fries ordered at 11.30AM were served at 1:30PM (time for lunch)
> At check-in we asked at reception for wifi access and were told that wifi out of service since last 1 week. At check out, they offered to use hotel wifi to transfer funds via RTGS since swipe machine was out of order. (Wow). We pre-enquired about swipe machines due to non availability of cash due to demonetization)
> Staff behavior was RUDE. actually rude.

The weekend gateway of all time Jim Corbett,
After our Honeymoon, we get a chance to take a break and enjoy some romantic time in peace in Feb 2017 Valentine week but don't wanna waste time on travelling so we come up with other best ever option Jim Corbett and at time of hotel booking the name on 1st place comes is Roop Resort. As because of our last experience we know the food and service are excellent of this property we quickly book the same.
At time of checkin what we have noticed is all the room are renovated and other works are also done which we pointed to the manager last time.
So 5* this time for treating Customer feed back positively

The resort is far away from the hustle bustle of Ramnagar city but nearby Dhikala gate and Garjiya temple. We got a cottage for ourselves which had a lawn and we were just chilling out and lazying around. Got a bonfire which was good. Kosi river is nearby but need to walk for atleast 5 mins. Food was very good and the staff were very helpful too. Didn't try the pool as it was cold. Visit this resort if you need to disconnect from chaos and go for the Cottage.
