Lovely setting for holidays

Stayed here for 4 nights on a short break. Lovely pool,bar and restaurant area. Plenty of sun loungers and seating. A barbecue is held every Wednesday but I thought it was a bit pricey. I stayed in a one bed roomed apartment with kitchen/ eating area and bathroom with shower. The resort is under new management and they work hard to make you feel welcome. Towels are provided but not toiletries. My kitchen appliances needed updating but the ones in my son's appartment had been done. It's situated on a quiet road close to Acharavi centre, shops and supermarkets The beach is a short walk away.

People who own and run it are this amazing family that are so fantastic and nice its unbelievable. Had such great time, room were nice and clean, everything was amazing, breakfast had good options, pool was always clean, pool side bartender good-looking and always there to make a smile on peoples faces, showers/ bathtubs were nice, had two mirrors in the room, three beds. Lots of things to do on the strip. jet ski, paddle boarding, paddle boating, little convince store just down the road, you can buy floats and such.

A fantastic Hotel

If you want a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the town then this is a great place to stay. We went on a girls holiday and stayed for a week it is a great hotel for families. Our room had a breathtaking view of the peaceful ocean I couldn't get enough of it. They had a minibus driver that dropped us off from the lobby to our room anytime we asked as the room was situated on the highest hill.
The receptionist were extremely helpful and friendly, anything you ask for was seen to straightaway. We didn't have to research for excursions the hotel provided all the services, it was a matter of paying for it and transport there and back was sorted as well. The swimming pool is great we used to go for a daily swim which is equipped with sun beds and regular walks to the beach as it is a matter of crossing the road. They have a rooftop bar which again had amazing views and opened till late. The breakfast was really good with a lot of varieties everyday in a pretty looking restaurant. There is a nice open restaurant just walking distance and you can just watch the ocean while you eat. The rooms were a good size small and house keeping came every day.

In need of modernisation

We just got back from a week's stay at the Corfu Village Hotel.

Plus points on the hotel:
- Great views
- Rooms cleaned to a high standard everyday
- Good choice at breakfast
- Small fridge, safe and air con in the room

Negatives about the hotel:
- Our room was very dated - VERY different to how they look on their website
- No glasses or cutlery at all in the room
- Pool is right next to a busy road - lots of traffic noise
- TVs and computers are so old
- No bar open at night - I can appreciate we went off peak so it may be different at different times of the year

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but felt the website is a bit misleading. It looks quite fresh and modern and the decor was far from it. That said, we had a beautiful view from our balcony and the room was clean and airy. Also the bed was really comfy.

There are a couple of restaurants and a little shop just as you turn left out of the hotel, but other than that the local facilities are pretty limited.

A great find for us was - turn left out of the hotel, go through the tunnel and go into the first excursion place on the left. The guy there, was really helpful and knowledgeable about the island. You can book excursions, or we hired a car for the week for a really good price.

There are a couple of little shops/supermarkets here too.

Room is ok and clean . A vary nice wieu. The tv is preistoric . Personal ok . 4 star enought . Beach is not ok lot of stones . Need't shoos . A lot of food good and tasty . Really ok for the people whant relax
