Early 20th Century Luxury in East Dallas

This is a trip back in time. The large, beautiful house is comfortably furnished with period pieces. Laurel, the innkeeper, is lovely and very helpful. She backed my car out for me when I confessed to anxiety about getting past the columns on the porch. My room was large and gracious, with a little private balcony. A large, charming bathroom completed my room with a clawfoot tub and plenty of fluffy, white towels. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast which is served at 9 a.m. I had to leave early, so Laurel set a place for me in the breakfast room and I helped myself to a continental breakfast. She was about to pop fresh scones into the oven when I left. Sorry I missed it.
Wonderful Experience

My wife and I recently spent a Friday and Saturday night here. It was superb. Laurel, the innkeeper, was very welcoming, wonderfully polite, and very accommodating. The main house is everything you would expect from a B&B. We stayed in the carriage house out back that was very spacious with a full kitchen and dining area. At first glance, one might question the part of town it is in, but it is just fine with churches all around and Baylor Medical Center just down the street. We will definitely return.
Outstanding Stay

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. Everything was perfect! It's a gorgeous home, with stunning rooms. Breakfast each morning was a special treat, everything was delicious!
The innkeeper went out of her way to make us feel pampered and comfortable. I'd stay here again and again.
Wish we could have stayed longer

I feel so lucky that we discovered this charming B&B as our home base for a golf tournament at the Lakewood Country Club. Laurel was incredibly gracious in making sure we felt comfortable treating the main kitchen as if it were our own home (stocked with baked goods, coffee, teas, and occasionally - wine). She was super flexible with us with the check-out time since the room we rented (the Mayor's Suite) was not booked for that day. The main house is beautiful, and the Mayor's Suite is perfect sleeping, and working. There is a full kitchen, and a nice sized table that I was able to use as my office desk for a few days. It was nice to also take advantage of the small bistro table on the deck and enjoy the peaceful backyard. Texas hospitality!!
Corinthian B&B - a very special place

This well located property, near to all the main parts of Dallas, is a real gem being an old colonial style building full of character. The rooms are large, comfortable and elegant with modern facilities. The A/C works well and is very quiet. You are made to feel very welcome and at home by Dan and Laurel for whom nothing is too much trouble. The freshly cooked breakfasts are a treat and you can help yourself to snacks and refreshments whenever you please.
The Corinthian makes a refreshing change to the high-rise, all-the-same hotels of today!
