Hotel Costasol in AlmerÃa was a refreshing stay! Wish we had booked our trip to include another night or two. The Junior Suite was spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet, and had a comfortable balcony. Be cautious that the sliding balcony door locks upon closing, so do not lock yourself or a family member outside! The rooftop terrace was super peaceful and comfortable for an escape from people. Taxi's are within 50 yards of the front entry, and can take much of the uphill walking out of your visit to the Alcazaba. Hotel staff was all quite friendly and helpful, including our server for a great cup of coffee with breakfast. Parking is a couple of blocks away, but good directions were given to us (including a map) from the front desk... easy to find... even for a pair of Americans on narrow Spanish streets. : ) Hotel is in a great location for walking to the beach, port, or the Alcazaba and shopping.

Spent 7 nights at the hotel. It was very thing we hoped for, within 20 min of airport, perfect city centre location. Staff very helpful/supportive when I was unfortunate enough to have my wallet lifted. Have every intention to return to Hotel Costasol for a significant anniversary next year.

Only stayed for 1 night. The hotel is basic, clean and central to bars, restaurants and attractions . There is parking close to the hotel. Would stay here again as its price is pretty good if you only want 1 night (paid 51 euros).

Great location - not far from the beach, the market or the narrow streets of the old town. We had a Junior suite, which was spacious, clean and comfortable, with fridge and a small balcony looking out onto the main street. The roof terrace was pleasant and includes a shaded area that meant we could enjoy a glass of wine, a breeze, a city view and a seaview without roasting in the July sun. The hotel has a comfortable spacious reception area, with large sofas and big windows.Staff friendly.
While there is little obvious trace, the hotel, it seems, was used in 1960s and 1970s by many Hollywood stars, filming in the city or the nearby Tabernas desert.

After stopping off at various locations in Spain kept finding all the beds too soft but this was just great, best night sleep in a week.
Hotel well located and good value definitely worth the money. Great tapas bars nearby.
