Non Smokers Beware
Worldsfair62on 14/11/2017 14:47Chose this hotel over others in the area based on Trip Advisor reviews. I did not get the friendliness from the staff that others remarked about. Very thin floors/ceilings; was afraid the person in the room above me was going to end up in the bed next to me. I could hear, and feel, every step they made. The bed was comfy, nice pillows, and a very nice and powerful shower head, but thin and rough bath towels.
The hotel is in a convenient location, by the mall and numerous restaurants and shops, though it appears the Bob Evans is closed.
My main reason for writing this review is this: The hotel is having work done on the main entrance, and as a guest, you are forced to use a side entrance that is also an area designated for smoking. As a non-smoker, it's quite disgusting being forced to walk through this area/people smoking. And what's even more disgusting is that the employees group outside this entrance, and prop the door open, so that you're forced to smell and inhale their smoke while you are indoors.

juliesI8615SAon 14/11/2017 03:36Hotel needs a good scrub down and a bit of a face lift. Great location, but they charge the same as a nice Hampton or Marriott and they are definitely not on the same level. They do allow pets which is great, but probably why it did not seem as clean....
Great Staff, Good Room, Good Breakfast
aprild507on 07/11/2017 10:34Front desk staff was warm and welcoming (genuine, not forced). The room was good, plumbing was well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. It had real protein (eggs and bacon), self-bake waffles, yogurt, fruit, pastries, and a good selection of cereals to satisfy kids and grown ups alike. Milk, coffee, and hot chocolate selections were also good.

339MelissaBon 05/11/2017 23:08Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The shower was hot and the water pressure was great too. The only things that were negative for me were the AC system was loud when it ran, and the pillows were uncomfortable for me (this is a preference thing though - my husband loved them). Oh, and the view out of our window was a wall (?) We would definitely stay again if we return to Frederick.

V2798MXemilydon 29/10/2017 20:11This hotel is an hour's drive from BWI airport. It's located across from a large shopping mall which makes it convenient shopping-wise. The continental breakfast is just right and provides a good variety of menu choices. The rooms have good housekeeping and are clean and the beds are very comfortable.
