For me, the staff has always been what differentiates a good with a bad experience. The size of the property, the amenities, services, etc are only bonus points. That said, the staff here are 50-50. Some staff are just plaint rude, while others are very helpful and nice (especially in the restaurant). The buffets, rooms, size of the pool, etc are all great. 10 mins walking distance to the closest beach!
For the management: As a frequent traveler, I would like to recommend few things:
- Please reduce the chlorine in the swimming pools (as soon as you take a dip, it irritates the eye), especially since you have children swimming there too.
- Shuttle service. Being so close to the beach (about 10 mins), it would be great (at minimal cost to the resort), if you could have free shuttle services going to the beach and back every 30 mins or so.
- I understand that Goa is a party place (for some), but putting on loud music by the pool side (with minimal guest attending) till 11-12pm, could disturb many guest; especially the rooms by the pool.
- For the love of god, please increase the internet speed! You're a 4-5 star resort! and your guest have paid accordingly!
All-in-All, a great experience and I would recommend it.

friends, first ever time i am writing such a review. and I would also recommend TRIPADVISOR to include Negative Marking for such properties.
And simply if you want to spoil your holiday, simply go for it. management of this hotel is highly unprofessional and from any standards its not a star category hotel. you keep requesting for basic amenities but they wont respond. and please don't accept anything from them whatever they offer as COMPLIMENTARY... after some time they will ensure that you are embraced just because you accepted complimentary stuff from them...

We would just like to thank all the staff at the country inn for a fabulous stay we have had,all the staff were amazing and couldn't help you more,we stayed here for our 10 th wedding anniversary and Neha who arranged everything for us deserves a medal,from the Taxis she arranged to the bedroom decorations,the 6 course meal,and the full body massage was exhilarating,well done to her and the whole place,thank you all and we will see you soon.

Stayed for two nights, excellent rooms,good staff, nice and clean swimming pool. Food was awesome. Deducted one star only because there was no hot or warm water in morning,don’t know why? Hot water was available at noon, but no use, may be they use solar power.otherwise very good hotel to stay.

I travelled with my family with multiple rooms booked - the hotel do not provide services like empty glasses in room and if insist they provide at a charge of INR 500 per glass- water bottle is chragable at 8 times it's MRP, club Carlson members are not recognised at all, no floor may in bathroom
