The location of this hotel to Irwindale Speedway was pretty good - we went for the drift races in October, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for a short stay (Denny's, Guadalajara Grill, McDonald's, Sizzler). However I did pick this hotel for the "free wifi" and although yes, they technically have free wifi you can connect to, the wifi doesn't get you online or on the internet so it's kind of pointless to have.
Smart TV in the room will allow you to log in to your existing Netflix account so that was kind of cool.

I just checked out of this Marriott yesterday. I have always liked Marriotts but feel incredibly disappointed with my stay here. The first night we went to go to sleep, I pulled the covers back and there were disgusting stains on the sheets that looked like dried blood. I called down to the front desk and they sent someone up with sheets and handed them to me to put on myself. Granted, it was midnight, but I’ve never had to change my own sheets at a hotel before. When we pulled the sheets off, we realized there was also a same-colored (smaller) stain on the mattress pad! Gross - this means to me that the sheets weren’t changed!
I spoke to a manager the next morning and he offered a different room, but since we had unpacked all of our stuff I asked if they could replace all of our bedding including the mattress pad. They made it sound like it was no problem. We got back to the hotel that night and I checked the mattress pad and it hadn’t been replaced. So we had to call down again and were finally able to get it replaced. I tried to speak with a manager about this for 3 days in a row and every time the front desk said they’d have someone call me, which never happened. I’m not one to complain (unless I have a very horrible meal out, but even then sometimes I won’t say anything), but I felt this needed to be shared.
Additionally we were told upon check in that if we parked in the gated area, we should scan our room card it and it will charge $6 a night. So, based on that, we tried every night to park in the limited parking outside the gate. We would even wait out an available parking spot. Upon check out, we were charged for parking for every day and were told that if we have a car on their property we get charged. I will say that upon writing the manager, we were refunded for the parking. But as for the sheets, the discount was negligible and seems incredibly inadequate given that our situation wasn’t resolved immediately and there was never any effort to get in touch with us over three days. Not to mention the fact that our room appeared to have DIRTY sheets. That’s disgusting and unacceptable when you are literally paying a lot of money to sleep somewhere. We have stayed at Baldwin Park before, but never will again.

I have stayed at this hotel four times. The first three times I would have rated it as a 4 because it is clean, with courteous staff, and with convenient location. However, they changed the parking system in a way that made my overall experience this last time unpleasant. They have fenced off the guest parking and are now charging guests $6 per night. Just having to pay would have been annoying, but beyond that, the fee was supposed to be $6 for hotel guests, but when I tried to leave, the sensor at the exit would not accept my hotel room key and it wouldn't let me exit without paying $8. I eventually had to call the attendant in order to get out. It took several minutes of my time and just left me with a bad overall impression of the hotel. They need to make parking more convenient for guests.

In July 6 after 3pm I walked into front door ,was anyone behind the an older African American gentleman name was Michael standing away from the desk didn't say anything to,I had to asking is this front desk he didn't say yes or no he said what you need.i told checking in and I have employees rates and he this is no good I have to 199 a night I told him I received 2e mail from the hotel said it's good and I drove gross the desert.he told there's some hotels down the road I could .i didn't have choice my kids are crying very tired I agree to pay the full price,he put us next to the elevator my kids didn't get any sleep.i hate to this but I'll tell everyone I know to don't stay in this hotel and that Michael guy he's very rude unfriendly unprofessional and needs to work in some place away from guest service.

The hotel just doesn't cut it. The staff was great, but other than that it sucked. The food that is offered in the Bistro was over priced and tasted horrible. Most of it was frozen entrees and microwaved or toaster oven. Nothing complimentary at all.
