I had a great room, which was on the 1st floor and inside toward the courtyard. This allowed the room to be very quite and I rested well.. The room was clean and super fast internet, better than most. I will use this location again.

We were very disappointed about this Hotel, it is located next to the busy 101 highway and on top of that they put us in a room that faces the highway. The noise during the night was quite substantial, could not sleep much. Also, one night (on Saturday) there was a lot of noise from one of the contiguous rooms and nobody in the Hotel did anything to prevent it. Don't recommend it if you want to spend a quiet night.

First of all the location is great. Walk outside, and you are at a sort of strip mall with stores, coffee, restaurant and even a movie house. I booked this hotel for two nights as we were going to a wedding and we did not want to be stressed out as we were coming from several hundred miles away. The person who checked us in was nice. I asked her about the "breakfast included" and her answer was that it was not. So we went to the room which was ok not great. The lighting is poor. Since so many people use this hotel for weddings and events, one would think that a good mirror with light in the bathroom area would be there. Nope. Very difficult to see and put on make up. We were going to take a swim as it was over 90 a few days ago in October but the pool is in direct sun so it was too hot. No one used that pool the entire time we were there. We took a walk and while husband was getting hair cut (stores right there) I looked at my reservation and I see "breakfast included". Back to hotel to another clerk and she tells me "no breakfast included". I very nicely had her look at my phone photo of "breakfast included" and she says "no it is not". HUH? I was very sweet and said "please look again" at it. Well a young man, who I believe was the manager, happened to be there and took one look and said "yes it is". Not very good service. We were on a second floor and we never found the elevator which we were told there were. Not that I needed it but with heels etc. it would have been nice. We did use the hot tub which is inside but open to outside by a grated gate which was fine as it did not get too steamy in the room. Towels are provided.

Went to an engagement party so thought we would stay overnight since we live over an hour away. We have stayed at Courtyards in other cities and haven't had any issues. This one however is the exception. When we opened the door to the room there was an odor. Honestly smelled like urine. Wasn't necessarily in the bathroom. We were in a hurry, needed to change and get to the party so we figured we would just deal with it. We sprayed some cologne in the room and it wasn't as bad. Another issue was the sink/bathroom area. Very cramped. If someone was using the sink area it was difficult to get around them to get into the actual bathroom (no sink in there). My husband commented on the faucet. Old and stained. If we were staying there more than just sleeping and getting up in the morning and leaving I would have asked for another room. Hopefully we just got a bad one and the rest of the rooms don't smell, aren't cramped by the bathroom, and the faucet doesn't look as bad. They really need to upgrade. Wouldn't stay at this one again. Room wasn't cheap either. Luckily we used points.

We booked for 1 night's stay. We were in town for a wedding so, instead of driving back to L.A. We decided to book here. The hotel is 15 min away from the Sterling country club. It's right off the fwy. There are restaurants adjacent to the hotel. Complimentary parking. The layout is very modern. Reminds me of a boutique hotel. When we checked in the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She gave us an option of the floor we want our room to be in. I said second, but later regretted it because there's no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. There has to be stairs in this hotel? It's an ADA requirement. The front desk lady never mentioned elevators. She handed us a map and she did say: " Take the stairs here." Anyways, back to my story, near the front desk there were a bowl of fresh fruit and fruit infused water. I like this. I just wish there were free coffee also. It would have been a great pick me up. The hotel room was very clean & cool. The bed was so comfortable. The pillows were a variety of firmness. I found the perfect ones for myself. We arrived from the event around 11:30pm. Too late for a night swim. Yes, this place has a favorable size pool. One of the main reasons I decided to book here. The pool closes at 10pm. There is also an indoor jacuzzi & gym. Those are located on the first floor near the stairs. I found the most adorable bunnies outside of the hotel. These cute furry creatures were just hanging out in the grass. There's a café on the premises. We decided to grab breakfast since its convenient. I had the french toast which was good. Starbucks coffee is also sold at the café. (There's a Starbucks store in the adjacent shopping center) (There is also a Denny's 2 or 3 fwy exits away) Like I said said earlier, the café is conveniently located inside the Courtyard. I was too lazy to drive. : )
I was unable to check out via in room television menu (bummer). Checked out at the front desk. Customer service was friendly. I just wished I had more time to use the pool.
