My client recommended this hotel over the Hilton Garden Inn across the street. Was surprised that they charge for breakfast and coffee.
Room had a moldy smell which was not pleasing. Sorry but going back to the Hilton with there cook to order great breakfast. And free coffee all day long. Also, I missed the free cookies in the evening.
The hotel appeared understaffed.

I would like to say that I was most pleasantly surprised by this hotel. After reading the reviews before heading out to the site, I was sure that the stay would be just short of Horrible. After checking in to a second floor room, I found that the room was quite large and featured a patio with sliding doors that opened and seating. The room was fresh and clean...and the King Bed was so comfortable that I really wanted to take it home. The staff was very friendly and greeted me warmly upon arrival...and provided yummy evening snacks quickly and effectively. The location is close to shopping and major highway...but NO traffic noise spillover, even when patio open.
Not sure why others had negative comments...But I would recommend this hotel and return.

A good hotel, old fashioned, but well located.
The staff is very friendly and hospitable, I believe it is something here from the region, and everything I needed was always attended very promptly and efficiently.
It just does not earn top marks because the rooms are very old, but they are safe, clean and spacious, which are top priorities that I look for in an hotel.
I hope to come back more often!

We had stayed here in June and our room was fine. We had a king suite on the second floor. This time we went in August and had a king suite on the first floor and it was below average. The room was damp, had a musty odor, and the pull out couch was barely sleepable. Fortunately, we were only there for about 14 hours. If I went back, I would definitely ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor.
I do have to say that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the woman bartender was very pleasant.

Maybe it's me, but I have little luck with Courtyards. Stayed in room 327, which is supposed to be non-smoking, but it wasn't. When the a/c system kicked on you could smell smoke from a previous occupant. Bed wasn't very comfortable and the hallways were warm and humid, thus musty.
Front desk staff was OK, cafe staff not as much. No personality. Three people were working the cafe, one was sitting at a table, eating, chatting with the others. None of them seemed to care about the customers.
There is plenty of shopping and food choices nearby, which was a plus. There are also sidewalks, thus a good area to get out and walk/run if you want to exercise.
There were plenty of other hotel choices in the area. I would stay somewhere else if in the area again.
