My husband and I were in the area on business, and took a chance to see if we could spend the night. There was one room left, with a jacuzzi, and it was on the first floor. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was at night. Our room was spacious, and clean, and very comfortable. The best part of all was the breakfast int he bistro. We could order anything we wanted, which we did, and the food was hot and delicious.

If you are thinking of getting great hotel experience because this hotel bears the Marriott name you might be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, this is NOT a terrible place to stay, its just fails to impress.
The first afternoon there was no hot water. Maybe 4:00 PM was the peak showering time. We contacted the front desk and they promptly sent someone to investigate. They sais they adjusted the boiler and everything was fine.
The landscaping is overgrown and the beds full on weeds without any mulch.
The fitness room has "well used" equipment. When I press the selection board it deflected an half an inch
The front desk personnel are polite and friendly when you can find them

This hotel is conveniently located near the interstate. The staff is friendly. However, when I checked in, I and a couple next to me in line were assigned to the same room without us knowing it. I purchased a water from the Market and then went to enter my room (the key card worked and I opened my door). To my shock, there was a woman in the room. I apologized to her and went to the front desk. The clerk apologized and assigned me to a new room.

I spent a few nights at the Courtyard while in town for work. I was pleased that the location is right off the interstate, but also only 10 minutes from downtown Willoughby, which has some great restaurants. The hotel staff was nice, and the room was clean. The rate was fairly reasonable as well. No major concerns, and good location makes this a nice play to stay for business or leisure.

We needed a place to stay on our way back from Wisconsin to New York and this place had the right rate for the dates we needed to travel.
Compared to other Courtyards and other Marriott hotels in general this one left some things to be desired. I would consider it average at best. The outside needs attention - to the point that the first question my wife asked when we pulled up was "uh...did you check the reviews on this place?". She is a bit of a hotel snob so take that for what it is worth.
The lobby and restaurant were nice and clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
The pool was very clean. The fitness room was also clean and well equipped.
We stayed in room 134. It was small for a family of four but it was the last one available. It has a king size bed with sleeper sofa. The bed was not comfortable. Having stayed at many Marriott hotels in the past, I am accustomed to being greeted with a bed that feels like sleeping on a cloud, with plenty of pillows to envelop me and take me to dreamland; this bed was not that. It was hard and we could feel the springs poking us in the back. I was told by my two young sons that the sleeper sofa was also quite uncomfortable, and they usually have no problem sleeping anywhere. The carpets are in desperate need of either cleaning or replacement because our feet were black from walking barefoot on them. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good pressure.
Dinner was good! The lady that served us was very nice and the food was prepared perfectly. The menu has a good selection and a decent variety of beer and wine (although there was still Sam Adams Winter Lager in the fridge...in July for some reason). It was however pricey. The southwestern Cobb salad, a chicken quesadilla, 2 bottles of water, a bottle of milk, and 3 beers cost $53 with tip, not room service.
We woke up early Saturday morning and were greeted with no coffee in the lobby, which is usually complimentary at Courtyard hotels. There was a coffee maker in the room but who wants to go through all of that at 5 AM? There is Starbucks coffee, but it was not available when we woke up. We had to be on the road early. We were forced to source our coffee from somewhere else after we checked out.
For the weary traveler, this hotel will do. I would not however, do it for more than one night.
