Elizabeth Ron 14/11/2017 02:09Great customer service! Tiffany was extremely sweet & rescued us when we mistakenly booked a hotel that was disgusting when attending a Razorback football game! She found us a room & was able to accommodate us within minutes of us calling with no hesitation! The property was clean & well kept! It also backs up to an awesome walking/biking trail!
Family wedding
Spice Bon 12/11/2017 14:58In town for a wedding....the hotel is very nice and clean. The indoor pool is pretty tiny, but kids still enjoyed it. Hot tub was broken so that was a disappointment.
The girls at the little cafe inside the hotel were very very sweet and the food was very good..had Starbucks coffee. Excellent location. Plenty of stores/restaurants within walking distance.
My favorite hotel in Fayetteville
Jacque Bon 07/09/2017 04:16This hotel is very comfortable and always welcoming. I love the Bistro (restaurant), but it was closed for repair last time I visited. They have a tasty breakfast menu and Starbucks menu. I have stayed at more than 8 different hotels in the area, and this is always my first choice.
Sore back and rude manager
razorbackmom2017on 13/08/2017 00:46My expectations are average when I stay at a Courtyard. In other words, I'm not expecting luxury or an exceptional experience. I expect a good experience though. However, I was greatly disappointed when my family stayed here while moving my son into University of Arkansas. Pillows very old and "used", mattress uncomfortable. Woke up with crick in my neck--even my 16 year old woke up with a sore back. Again, I restate I wasn't expecting luxury. So, the quality of bedding is not what sparked this review.
We left at 9 am on Saturday morning and returned to the room at 5pm exhausted from a full day--room had not been cleaned. We complained, which lead to a conversation with the manager, in which my husband told him, "look, we're really just looking for an acknowledgment that was not your expectation", manager responded "I'm not going to do that, we are not required to have our rooms cleaned by 5 pm". In the end, there are other choices for hotel stays in Fayetteville, and we will stay in other hotels for the next 4 years that we have a Razorback in school. The manager said, "that's ok with me, that's your prerogative." Really shocking behavior from a Marriott manager.
In the end, the hotel is ok. It's not great, but ok. But apparently they don't really need your business, so keep your expectations low.
Gross room and Sub-Par service
catfight23on 12/08/2017 22:13We have stayed here numerous times in the past 4 years with no issues but this stay was one of the worst hotel stays we've ever had anywhere.
1) we knew we would be a very late arrival so we checked in online at 6pm then called the hotel to ensure they didn't give our room away. A very nice girl blocked the room we had asked for on the 4th floor - all was well.
We arrived after midnight and our room was GONE. Only one room left in the hotel. We were NOT HAPPY at all but when we got to it it was UNCLEANED. Used towels on the floor, bed linens slept in! Trash cans not emptied. AC wasn't cooling.
Ewww.
By the time the poor night desk guy came to change the linens and pick up the towels it was after 1am. Room still was never cleaned or vacuumed.
Double Ewww.
After a long drive to FV we were pretty upset. We asked for our room to be comped and we're told NO. They only wanted to give us points. Seriously????
I am Marriott silver and my husband is gold!!
2) If that wasn't bad enough, the next morning when I was getting dressed TWO MEN WALKED INTO THE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING!!! I'm half dressed in a bra and shorts!!! They said they were coming to fix the AC. After screaming at them to get the hell out I called the front desk manager and again was only given a pathetic apology for the awful experience. I don't care if you're coming to my room to tell me I won the lottery, YOU KNOCK THEN WAIT to enter.
SHAME ON MARRIOTT. Pathetic customer service. Hope they read this review.
