Location great for visiting Venice, Century City, Santa Monica or Westwood.
Fox Hills mall 3 minute walk with shops and restaurants.
Receptionists cordial and professional. Did not clue me into WiFi until asked.Good security noted as well.,
No complimentary happy hour or breakfast items. Breakfast buffet very inexpensive though and complete.Small market with well-priced snack items as well.,
Rooms spacious, well lit and bathrooms with good amenities and shower-tub.
Fitness room well stocked but on small side. No issues with crowds however during my visit.
Parking an issue if someone comes to pick you up and parks in lot to have something to eat with you at hotel. Parking in hotel lot for 3 hours is $20.00 ( same as overnight rate). Would arrange with front desk to amend that ahead of time as I was told hotel does not own lot.

We had booked an apartment for a week ( travelling from aust ) but when we arrived it was terrible. We sat on the side of the road and googled our butts off looking for somewhere and ended up at Courtyard by Marriott. We could not be happier here for the week. I HIGHLY recommend, staff absolutely lovely, clean, comfortable, quiet..

This is a good no-frills place to stay if you plan to spend a few days in LA and won't be driving. It's 7 minutes by taxi from the airport; next door to a shopping mall and a short walk to a cinema. So you essentially have most things you need around you.

After a 13 hour flight our family of 5 arrived at the hotel at 8am. We had requested an early check in and this was not only granted but we received a no questions asked room upgrade. All of this was done with a smile and professional attitude by the front desk crew. The room was clean, spacious and exactly what we needed for a day and night stopover en route to the UK. The request for a late check out was again granted and we were able to leave for LAX refreshed and beautifully placed for the 10 hour flight. Our family has a 7 year old and a 2 year old and all we were met with were smiles and a professional attitude by the staff.
I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you Courtyard Los Angeles Westside for being the perfect stopover hotel.

My wife and I stayed here before a UCLA visit on September 12th. This is a typical Courtyard. However, it calls itself the "Courtyard Los Angeles Westside" and I just wanted to warn travelers who are not familiar with LA that this hotel is in Culver City, not on the Westside of Los Angeles. Even using the Waze app, it took us 35 minutes from the hotel lot to get to UCLA in the morning. LA traffic can be horrendous.
PROS:
1) Convenient to LAX by way of the 405 Fwy.
2) Pleasant staff.
3) No surprises for those familiar with Courtyards.
CONS:
1) It can be a long drive to LA's Westside during rush hour(s).
2) Very soft beds.
