The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The service is excellent and the facilities are great. It is a bit far from the tourist downtown, but it is close to train station for meetings and business.

I have stayed here a few times over the years. The hotel staff were great, very pleasant, gave me directions to the nearest gas station as I had just arrived from Toronto and wanted to fill up my car for the drive home. The room is really spacious and very clean. There is a "bar" area with a fridge, sink and coffee maker. We were running an event at the conference centre so it was nice to be so close. There was plenty of free parking in the garage. The restaurant was great as wee, good service and good food. I will definitely look forward to my next visit! thanks

We Just came home today from visiting Ottawa and staying at the Courtyard Ottawa East.
It was my wife and i Anniversary weekend and we made the short 2hr trip from Kingston to Ottawa.
The Hotel is super easy to find just right off highway 417, across the street from the baseball stadium where the Ottawa Champions play on Conventry road. Check in was easy. i thought it might be a bit of a challenge since im an employee of Marriott hotels and was able to get the employee discount so i thought it might be harder to check in, But it defiantly wasnt. The Man at the front desk was very nice and asked what floor we would like ( im guessing it wasnt sold out that day ? )
The lobby is huge and very clean. Its a big hotel with 15 floors. We were staying on the 12th floor. The room was Big!! lots of space to move around and i loved the size of the bathroom. It was only the two of us in a single bed room but there was enough room to have our 3 kids stay there as well
Pool was small but very nice. A bit to cool for me but i still enjoyed having a good swim.
Hotel is close to downtown. Walmart, Canadian Tire, St laurent Mall and various restaurants are a short 5-10 Min drive down the road.
We didnt eat at the restaurant so i cant comment on the food or service there
I did mention it was our anniversary to the assistant general manager and i was hoping for a little surprise or something from the hotel, but im not one to expect freebies so im not worried at all that nothing was offered to us.
Overall we had an excellent stay!! . Wish we could have stayed longer than 1 night. Defiantly will be back the next time we are in Ottawa

We have been at this establishment many times, we have ordered the steak, ribs, salmon and the cob salad. We fully enjoyed all the choices ordered. As well the server was polite and courteous, many staff to serve you. For breakfast, the buffet is okay, patrons are given coupons for the buffet, many patrons do not realize that tips are not included in this coupon. Please do not forgot to tip, specially when there is only two to three servers on the floor compared to 6 servers at night

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a few days on a business trip. Great hotel in the outskirts of Ottawa, minutes from downtown. Excellent hotel staff.Comfortable beds; delicious food in the Bistro( By the way, they have breakfast buffet; which is not common for Courtyard) . Even though the hotel is close to the highway, it is very quiet. Wonderful pool to swim laps. Gym is large. Starbucks on site. Will definitely stay again.
