swede52497on 08/11/2017 15:17The hotel location is awkward but you get use to it I guess. Near everything. 1K room was a bit small but ok. Sleep quality fine. Large patio (too cold to utilize). Typical coffee, mini-frig. Great work space. Housekeeping had a great attitude and were very accommodating. One elevator - very slow. Breakfast not included for us. Internet speed fine.
nice motel
gasman062016on 12/09/2017 02:46We were very happy with our decision to stay at this place. The lady that checked us in was very attentive to detail and got us a lower level room as we had requested. The room was clean and spacious and the shower had the most water pressure that I have had in a motel in a long time. Missed having a complimentary breakfast but knew that going in. Would recommend this motel highly.
Absent front desk staff
Justaregulargalon 24/06/2017 05:08I arrived at 6:30 pm on a Monday evening and there was no one at the front desk. There was a cell phone and a dollar bill lying on the counter behind the desk, as if someone had stepped away, but no one available to check me in. Waited for over 5 min, walked behind the desk calling out to no avail. Called the hotel but of course the phone rang and rang at the front desk and no one answered it. Finally went to the woman staffing the restaurant across from the front desk for help--even she had no way to find anyone to check me in.
About 10 min later, one staff member showed up and checked me in--very frustrating that she was the ONLY person staffing the front desk at that time.
The following morning, at 6:30am, again, there was NO one at the front desk. Thank goodness I had already received my bill or I would have missed my appt if I had to wait for someone to show up.
Since these were prime hours for check-in/check out I am baffled why there was no one staffing the front desk/phones.
Ready for Crusin'
William Eon 11/04/2017 23:27We stayed overnight to be near the airport in preparation for a cruise. We have stayed at this Courtyard many times in the past. Easy reservation, fast check in, clean rooms, good service all around, excellent location for our needs. We will be back again in May.
Doesn't deserve to be called Marriott
Christi Kon 25/03/2017 10:11This property is awful compared to any other Courtyard- I have stayed here multiple times over the last year. The first time a pipe burst above my room and everything I owned got wet. The fire alarms would go off at random....and a year later this is STILL an issue as I was awakened by the fire alarms going off for no reason...again! I had booked a balcony suite as the weather was supposed to be nice- yet the door to go to the balcony wouldn't open..so the lady says she will move me (after I was already unpacked mind you) but i would now be on the first floor (uhhhh hard to have a balcony on the first floor isn't it). I was shocked at the new room. The coffee table was falling apart, no microwave, hinges off the closet door, tiny vanity area compared to the other room, and nasty cigarette butts EVERYWHERE just outside the sliding glass door. The maid tried coming in not once but TWICE without knocking- first time she succeeded- and walked in right as I got out of the shower. Second time she tries but I locked the extra lock this time- talk about no privacy!! Rude! I felt like I was staying next door at the baymont except having to pay $160 a night ...for a room worth 80 at most without all the problems. And don't expect to be compensated for your troubles- the bill came- normal rate, subpar room, and terrible experience. Definitely was my last time ever staying there.
