Nice to see a renovated courtyard but why wouldn't they update the super thin walls? Not anyone's fault to make a little noise but you hear EVERYTHING. Even the ping of a text message to details of your conversation. They are aware of it as they offer earplugs to their guests. I only use earplugs to sleep on planes but I had to use them one night because the hotel was sold out and eventually needed to get some sleep. If there were other options nearby, I wouldn't come back here.

I travel to CT for work (From Atlanta) quite frequently and I was so excited to find this little gem. It looks like an old Marriott Courtyard from way back when, but the entire interior (including the rooms) has been completely updated. The locations is amazing. You can jump on the Metro North Train and be in Grand Central Station in 45 minutes. It's also very easy to get to Greenwich, Stamford, Danbury and other cities in CT. For some reason I always get the best sleep in this hotel. I love this place and will continue to stay there whenever I'm in the area.

Stayed here a day and a night for a work trip On par with Other Courtyards I have stayed at. This one has upgraded bathrooms which was a welcome surprise.
Rest of the property feels a bit old/dated.
Location is great, easy to get to/from. Bistro staff was ON IT!!! Friendly and quick.
Suggestion for management, please make sure workout room has adequate wipes for cleaning machinery post workout.

My husband I am were looking for a Marriott past the GW Bridge in NY and heading north on I95. We were able to find the Courtyard in Rye which turned out to be a perfect location just off I95 and an hour north of NYC. We also were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner within several miles of the hotel in the town of Rye. In saying all of that, this Courtyard was fabulous and the staff wonderful but my complaint with Courtyard is why we rarely stay at a Courtyard anymore and that is they offer no amenities. It would be nice to have the option to have a 24 hour coffee/tea area, a free breakfast in the morning and at the very least the USA Today which are all complimentary at Marriott brands that are considered less in category classification. Typical Courtyard, they offered none of these and at the very least I was told that they had cancelled their USA Today subscription. For a brand that markets itself for the business traveler, that I was surprised at!

We needed somewhere to stay locally to visit with friends living in Rye. If not for this, we would not stay here.
The hotel is right off i95 & you can clearly hear the noise from the pool area & if your air con isn’t switched on in your room. There is little to no ambience at the hotel & some of the reception staff also have little to no personality - they shouldn’t be working in hospitality.
Whilst we were aware of the check in time, we called a few days prior to advise were travelling from Australia (24hr+ travel time,) & would appreciate an early checkin. This was noted on our file & despite the hotel not being fully booked, a room was not available & we had to wait 90mins for housekeeping to clean & have our room ready. The receptionist was somewhat condescending & not overly empathetic of our want/need to access a room after travelling for over 24hrs to get there. Disappointing.
The hotel is really not within walking distance to the Main Street in Rye & taxi’s/Uber’s are needed.
The lighting in the room is poor and needs fixing
The walls/doors are paper thin & you can hear other guests in their room & in the hallway
The restaurant option is very limited & unable to accommodate changes. The receptionist/concierge/bell boy is also the wait stuff and appear unhappy to be required to do all tasks at once.
