Stayed here recently using a free night certificate. The hotel is literally a stone's throw from the 5. Next time I will look at the location more closely, as I didn't sleep well due to its proximity to the highway. I had asked for a top floor location, but was put on the second floor thus enabling me to listen to my upstairs neighbors walking around, as the floors are not soundproof. Most troubling, was that the hole in the door frame does not match where the deadbolt should go through it, so it was impossible to lock the deadbolt. I would have told the front desk clerk upon checkout about this had he bothered to ask me how my stay was or if there were any issues. In hindsight, I should have immediately gone back to the registration desk and requested a different room the moment I realized there was a security issue. The bathroom smelled of mildew and there were several places where it was visible on the bathroom wallpaper..nasty!. To me, this is completely unacceptable for a Marriott property. On the bright side, the decor of the room was modern and aesthetically pleasing. Next time I will either try the neighboring hotel or drive a bit further to find something in a different city, as I am not a fan of mildew nor security concerns.

We stayed at this hotel in June for 30+ nights. Professional, helpful and very friendly staff especially Ian and Alissa. Very well operated hotel with good beds and clean rooms. Don't bother with the hotel next door. We stayed there for 30+ nights prior to our stay at Courtyard and does not compare.

The hotel is somewhat secluded but close to the freeway to see it and know where to head to. The staff was very nice, and the room was so nice from the decor to the overall cleanliness of the room!
Zoe checked me in. I was early with mobile check in, but no rooms were available. I stayed in the lobby which was very nice and accomodating as well to get work done there before my room was ready. They came over with a key as soon as a room was available...

We stayed here with our 3 kids for one night on our way back from San Diego. We were unable to get to the hotel until about 9:30pm but thankfully I did mobile check in earlier in the day. The gentlemen running the front desk, I believe his name was Ian but I apologize if I didn't remember it properly, was amazing. We rolled in late and I could tell he was busy running the front desk by himself. He still took the time to make me feel welcomed. He definitely did a fantastic job checking us in, and addressing the requests I had. It is not often I give compliments on just checking me in, but he made feel not only welcomed but that he appreciated my business.
The only request we had was the need for a crib in the room which when we got to our room was not there yet. I did make a quick call and the crib was brought very promptly to us. The room was clean and decent sized for having two beds. I was very happy with our room.
Overall this was a great stay for us, even if it was just one night. The staff really was exemplary and would be the main reason I would stay here again on my next trip to southern California.

Stayed two nights. Great breakfast both mornings, Staff in this hotel was very helpful. One person recommended restaurants nearby for dinner, and also assisted me setting up Uber for the first time. Shower was a bit challenging to turn on, but was a great shower once I figured it out. Conveniently located beside the company I was visiting.
