Staff friendly, but room not cleaned properly
Abel Pon 19/11/2017 23:05First time to stay here. At first glance and read other reviews all looked good. Had Starbucks bistro. Staff was friendly. Room was comfy. But next morning to take a shower. I notice the shower floor was dirty and not cleaned for a while. Like it was just rinsed. I started to think they might have cut corners on cleaning other things. Maybe not vacuum? Putting up used towels? Ordered drinks from starbucks bistro. Worst coffee. Order an iced americano. Got a med glass of ice with some coffee in it. I mentioned this was not right. She took our drinks back and added more creamer. During this whole time she was coughing up a storm. I was not too please to get these coffees. I usually have good luck with Marriott’s. i’ll pass on this hotel next time coming through. I did mention to the front desk the shower floor being dirty. They were looking into it.
1st time stay
pattysrodon 12/11/2017 04:59We were in Abilene Texas June 2017. We were out for a football competition with our grandson. Our stay at the courtyard was so pleasant! Rooms were so clean. Staff was great! Customer Service was excellent! The cafe was great as well. We will definitely stay at the courtyard again
Very Clean Great Location
Audrey Von 18/10/2017 14:25I stayed here for one night with my husband and two kids. The room was very clean, and looked like it had recently been updated. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. They were genuinely excited when I told them we were in town from Houston, and this was our first trip to Abilene. They offered some ideas of restaurants and local attractions. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was comfortable and quiet. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and the mall is right across the street. I would definitely stay here again.
Don't enforce pool hours- better hope nobody feels like partying at 2 am!
Michael Mon 09/10/2017 20:23It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. They had a nice lobby and were in a great location next to the mall and several restaurants but there were other hotels near by and I highly recommend going to one of those. We had three rooms for three nights, we booked them all together several weeks out and where still on three different floors, which is annoying but fine. One of our three rooms was never cleaned the entire time we stayed there. The worst thing though is that they never in forced the pool rules. Two of the three nights we had to call the front desk multiple times trying to get them to tell the guest that they can't scream at the pool at 2 am. It took over 2 hours and six phone calls the first night and 45 minutes, 4 calls and us threatening to report them to the cops for disturbing the peace before they told them they had to leave the pool. It was unacceptable that they let a few drunk people in the pool ruin several peoples sleep.
Great hotel
Kathy Won 24/09/2017 20:44Spent the night in Abilene to go to a wedding. Hotel is clean and quiet. They have an outdoor sitting area which was very nice. Nice outdoor pool and exercise room. The room was great. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker along with other regular amenities such as iron, etc in the room. Staff was friendly. For me a 5 star rating would be to have complimentary continental breakfast. I would stay here again. Happy travels!
