This was a quick getaway for my husband myself and son. We stayed in room 110 loft suite and felt like royalty with the amazing service and amenities We had ordered transportation from Royal pickup from Cancun to The Playa Ferry and were greeted
Promptly at the airport in a clean spacious SUV. Our driver Jaime was excellent .
We then took the ferry to Cozumel which was a bit rocky as the water was rough and
Not the smooth ride we expected.
When we arrived in Cozumel we walked to the Palace hotel although I would advise take a cab ride when you have luggage. It’s definately worth the $6.00 US dollars.
When we arrived around 2:30 our luggage was checked and we were given our bands to drop off our luggage and get a bite to eat.
We ate outside and then changed to enjoy the pool and snorkeling .
Victor made sure that our glasses were never empty and we felt like we were in paradise. In the morning I had a wonderful Stretch class given by Luis and the afternoon Carlos helped us with snorkeling equipment and we had a great lesson
In making guacomole. Restaurant service was excellent Enrique at the Asian Restaurant and Maria made the best omelette at breakfast.
Jonas was on the spot with quick room service which we used frequently.
The Jacuzzi inside the room was nice but would have loved an outdoor one.
We were only there 3 nights so we did not use all the resort credits.
Did the Chocolate tour which was very informative and fun.
We will defiantly be coming back

I would to commend Elizabeth the pool side server. She is truly a ray of sunshine with her delightful and prompt service. She is awesome at keeping
You well taken care of.
Ceasar the wine expert was awesome with his wine tasting
Seminar. Highly recommend using you resort credits to take advantage of this experience.

This was our first trip to Cozumel, and our second time staying at an all-inclusive resort. The whole experience was just wonderful and we can't recommend this resort enough. It is a smaller resort than our last experience - everything is right at your fingertips, the ocean is right outside every window. The food is outstanding, and the staff is extremely attentive and helpful. The whole resort is incredibly clean and well maintained. Our room was visited three times daily to restock clean towels and drinks (including bottles of water). At the restaurant, bars, and poolside, staff makes sure that you have everything you need and they are all very warm and friendly. Any questions we had were answered immediately. And did I mention the food? If we ever return to Cozumel, there is no question of staying anywhere else. We deeply appreciated the week that Cozumel Palace gave us.

We normally rent a condo/villa when staying on Cozumel. However this was a short trip and I've had my eye on Cozumel Palace for some time. I always hesitated pulling trigger based on the MIXED reviews. However, since we were only staying 4 days instead of 7, I figured it was the perfect time to give it a whirl.
For an All-Inclusive the food is very good. The service as everyone has mentioned is outstanding. The employees REALLY make you feel VERY welcome and they try really hard to remember your name.
Many have complained about the pool and halls being noisy. Its actually a function of the rooms having very little to no sound proofing. You can hear EVERYTHING out in the hall, its not that the people were being 'loud", the sound just carries REALLY well and again the rooms have little if any sound proofing. I never felt like the pool was loud, yes their was music, yes their were games going on in the pool, but no one ever got belligerent. Despite all this, I slept fine, our room was on the 5th floor directly above the pool.
Check in was very welcoming, we were never really pressured to do the timeshare tour. We were welcomed with a drink, cool towel and received a free upgraded meal because it was our anniversary.
Diving- My wife and I are divers. Aqua Safari runs a very safe and professional outfit. However for us, we prefer much smaller groups. Our first trip out had 19 divers. I spent more time trying to get out of peoples way then looking at coral. Yes everyone was friendly and dive masters found lots of things to look at, but 19 people all trying to look under a little rock can get crowded....
FOOD- we never ate at the Asian restaurant. We ordered room service twice, each time they said 30-45 minutes but it took less than 15 and was hot and fresh. The Mexican restaurant was good as was the Italian restaurant. You do need close towed shoes, pants/jeans and a collard shirt. Women can wear decorative flip flops with their sun dresses. Most mornings we did the buffet and would sit outside. I had the eggs Benedict which was very good. I didn't care for the biscuit they put it on, so after the 1st morning, I made my own bread at the bread station and had them put it on that.My wife enjoyed the egg white omelettes. The buffet never got crowded and the made to order stuff never took long.
ROOMS- The rooms are well appointed, they are starting to show their age some, but you can tell they have been keeping them up with fresh paint and coverings. The shower pressure and temp was great except one time the pressure was low for some reason. Didn't break our stride though... and was back to normal during the next shower.
DO IT AGAIN? - I'd have to say NO only because we are spoiled with the villas/condos and prefer to eat at local restaurants. Not to mention the pools are far less crowded at condos, most of the time you have them to yourselves. To many people reserving chairs ALL DAY. One day it rained and my wife and I got a drink at the indoor bar and went to sit by the glass only to find the indoor chairs had stuff reserving them too! We sat at the bar for 30 minutes, NO ONE used those chairs! REALLY PEOPLE?

Had the best time! service was great. We had an awesome experience with our photographer Valeria Flores! From dreamart, she was very professional and the pictures were beautiful, super recommended. Every employee gave us an outstanding service, always smiling and there to provide a great service!!!!!!
