Really poor condition
Stella Ton 17/06/2017 22:32Seriously Dangerous stair cases, doors that don't lock properly, bathroom in poor condition, light not working, walls in poor condition, threadbare carpets. Cooked breakfast consisted of "turkey bacon", chicken sausages and "salad". Opted for toast, both toasters lacked operational buttons. £50 deposit required that was not stated at time of booking and takes 10 days to be returned. Had to listen to a collection of men laughing and shouting in the street below our room into the early hours.
Room flooded
Steve Bon 13/04/2017 08:23I turned up at the hotel only to be told that my room had been flooded by an issue with the water system. I was requested to stay at another hotel that they had organised. Although the receptionist was polite, this was disappointing and would have liked to have been informed before I got there.
Comfortable stay
Akhil con 07/03/2017 09:21I was traveling to London for the first time. I was recommended to stay in this hotel by my friend who stays close by in Ilford. The rooms are comfortable and nice. The breakfast spread has also got lot of variety. Most importantly the staff members are very courteous and prompt. I would recommend this hotel for short and comfortable stay.
Cheap, cheerful and spotlessly clean
jackiesh2016on 27/02/2017 23:58V. helpful night receptionist helped push my broken-down car off the road, and also carried my luggage at 1.30am. A little old-fashioned hotel, but quite comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff.
Ok if you just want somewhere to sleep

1) The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable
2) Most of the staff were friendly
3) There was a heater
Negatives:
1) 2 of the 5 plug sockets weren't working
2) The food wasn't very nice. The 'bacon' was definitely not bacon, it tasted like turkey.
3) The wifi, which was very important for me, was absolutely atrocious. My connection was terrible at all times of the day, from midday to 4 o'clock in the morning. At several points it was dropping out completely every minute or so.
