I stayed here for 2 nights in October, 2017 and had a wonderful visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a woman's dorm (#207) and it was very clean and comfortable. The community area and kitchen was warm and friendly. The entire Hostel is very clean and well organized. Good security. The bathrooms were clean and great hot water.
I'll be staying here again!

I stayed in a dorm room upstairs and was very satisfied with my room and the bathroom down the hall. The common room was big with a fireplace, alcove window seat, nice couches & pillows, very homey and comfortable, lots of tables & chairs and area to sit with my laptop with good Wi-Fi. Kitchen was bright and clean. Only disappointment was no coffee in the morning. Short walk to the Main Street of town with lots of restaurants.
Found it quite affordable, safe & secure.

Our family (3 adults, a 3-year old and a 2-year-old) stayed at Crested Butte International Lodge and Hostel in June of 2017. We had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and practical, the shared bathrooms were clean and spacious, the kitchen area was clean (are you sensing a theme?) and well stocked, and there is a large shared living area in which to hang out. We cooked most of our meals there, which made our trip quite economical. There were gorgeous hikes of all ability levels within easy access. Crested Butte was hosting a music festival and we attended two great concerts, too. If you're looking for a clean, economical vacation spot, I would recommend this one!

I have stayed @ many hostels in ski towns over the last few winters traveling around. This one by far was the most clean and comfortable. Yes, the walls are a bit thin and the personality of the people will dictate the environment of the common spaces, but that's hostel life @ this price anywhere .... bring earplugs for sleeping and the right expectations! The staff were incredibly nice and quite accommodating, especially the very nice woman @ the front desk. I'd go back anytime!

Most Americans I have encountered who have stayed in Hostels love those in Europe and HATE those in the USA. Well, here's the new standard for USA hostels...this place is clean, very comfortable and always an inexpensive alternative to the Resort options in Crested Butte--Summer or Winter. We have stayed there in both seasons and could not be more pleased. The comfortable accommodations in the living area are wonderful. The rooms are clean, comfortable but a little noisy and somewhat on the cramped side. The kitchen area can facilitate multiple people cooking/prepping food. Those who stay here are always polite and interesting (in the positive sense). So, if you're skiing Mt. Crested Butte in Winter or visiting the Wildflower Festival in Summer--this is the place to stay for an affordable, pleasant and rewarding experience.
As a bonus, it is within walking distance to the many restaurants and festivities downtown and the local free bus which takes you to the ski lifts (or to downtown) picks you up within a stone's throw of the front door--literally, a stone's throw.
