Easy to find and a very warm welcome. Plenty of space to park and reasonably priced especially given the location. Reception, bar and waitressing staff were all excellent. The housekeepers were not! They left our door open after "servicing" the room! Luckily nothing was missing. Although they stocked up our refreshments, they didn't give us clean cups or empty the bins. The shower was cold even when turned up to the highest temperature and it wasn't very powerful. Breakfast was also disappointing, first morning it was burnt, very greasy and cold. The second morning it was cold and some of what we had ordered was missing including the cutlery. We just don't feel that we got our monies worth and would have been better staying at a premier inn.

The facilities were good, our room was comfortable and the location was also ideal. The staff were friendly and I have to make special mention of Mohamed on reception, he was friendly professional and very helpful. We had a great stay and will look to return to this property on our next trip to Leeds.

The hotel has some very good facilities and some of the most comfortable beds I have used in recent years in a hotel as a frequent traveller- makes a big difference. The meeting rooms, breakfast room, gym and swim are all very good too, in this regard I felt we were very well catered for.
Check in however, was a disaster. Waited very nearly half an hour which after a day that had started at 5am, included 200 ,isles of travel and a day of physical work was totally unacceptable. I raised it at reception and was told (albeit pleasantly enough), you all arrived at once.... not my fault and not helpful!!
I would use this hotel again when back in Leeds but hope to have a better check in experience.

This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff in a good location in central Leeds.
Parking was fine, although there were only a couple of spots left when we arrived at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. However, not far to walk.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi area is very pleasant and accommodating with kids (best to keep the noise down though, as this is shared with gym / pool club members who won’t want shouty children).
Food in the restaurant was very enjoyable, with the area itself appealing. Great deal on the children’s food too. We did the evening meal and breakfast - both very nice.
Room was spacious for my wife and I, plus our two kids (6 and 4). Maybe needs a tiny bit of an update and the bathroom door needed some WD40 (surprised nobody had raised it before me), but certainly no complaints.
If you happen to be doing the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k then this is a brilliant location - start line right outside the hotel.
Overall, really nice place, pleasant staff and decent food.

I've been staying here a fair bit for work and thought very highly of the place until I had a slight problem with my dinner in the restaurant (that I still said I was happy to pay for), I could not have been any more polite and kind in how I went about expressing my concerns about my dinner to the waitress and manager but was totally shut down with comebacks from the manager/ supervisor working the evening of 3-8-2017, unacceptable attitude, she had no intention to try and understand why I felt the need to say something about my food, she was so argumentative! I won't be staying here again. A very good reputation ruined in seconds as far as I am concerned, I’ll be letting my company know not to use this hotel again.
